Well, the gfx... Are they really terribly crap?

The story should be ok, it is adapted from a short story of mine.

Actually, I also thought of Delphine. I had the idea to have the character move about in the title screen (ala that inspector in Cruise for a Corpse)  8-)

I made the room gfx in Blender, as 3d, then edited them a bit in Gimp.

I like the style but i think that the character looks a bit too pixelated compared to the background :-)

Yes, that is an issue. And it's unlikely I will be able to create a non-pixelated character (in the original size, he looks nice, but he has to be pretty big in the game so this is the result...)
