Title: Looking for Sierra style game: Time Quest
Post by: icedan on Fri 06/08/2021 01:11:38
Hi, many many years ago a guy made a short demo adventure game and I believe he named it Time Quest. The graphics and interface were Sierra in style and he never completed the game. I have done a very thorough search to find it and I'm sure the place I first discovered it was on this website but no search tool or filter is helping. I'm hoping someone here knows the game I am talking about and would love a link to it. It might be that I have the name wrong and I just can't remember.

Mmhh, might that be the demo game called 'James Peris 2' (https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/984-james-peris-2-demo/)?
If not, there's a demo game called 'Island Quest' (https://dam1976.home.xs4all.nl/IQdemo/Island%20Quest%20demo.zip) and another demo game which is the 42th RON game named 'Time Out' (https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/299-time-out-teaser-trailer/).

Thanks for the reply, but that's not it. You started in an American house and I think in the basement you had a time machine which you had to get working.

YES! thank you so much! How did you find it, did you happen to know about it?

edit: after some further searching I managed to find the demo (link on wiki doesn't work).

No, I hadn’t heard of it, which is a bit surprising as I thought I knew most of the Sierra style fan titles that came out around that time. Looks like a cool game!
