I just released my MAGS June entry:
;D CASABLANCA, THE DAY AFTER ;D
The game is based on Warner Bros 1942 classic. You play Mick. It's the day after Ilsa and Lazslo managed to escape Casablanca. You know you did the right thing by letting them go. However, you are not very happy about it. To top things off, Sam won't stop playing that stupid "As time goes by" song. Your goal in this game is to use ANY means to stop him doing so. This game is re-playable, as there are at least four different combined paths leading to its completion.
The game features:
- Stunning noir hi-colour graphics!
- Two puzzles combining up to... FOUR :o :o :o paths to complete the tragedy--- er... the game!!!
- Your favourite Nick it & Run characters!
- Some lame jokes!
- Action scenes!
- Unnecessary and potentially offensive violence!
- A classic soundtrack!
- The missing link between Casablanca and Nick it & Run!!!

Mick is a parody of Rick.
...and I think the reason it takes forever to download is because of the server. It's very slow. I also have cable internet and it takes me awhile to dl from my own website if I try to... Sorry.

That was lots of fun! Some very nice graphics, dialog, puzzles and site gags. I never played "Nick it and Run," but I think I will be downloading it soon.

pretty good looking game, nice graphics and atmosfere, altough I like when the player looks at hotspots and even that he walks to them, it makes things more real,
other than that I really enjoyed playing it and the B/W graphics add to the plot

Yeah, great game Aussie, loved the black&white, added atmosphere, great for a MAGS game made in a few days,
A little bit short, but I liked the puzzles.
I think you should continue making NOTRF or atleast make a few sequels to NIAR

while playing it, I got this error, on the alley when looking at the rope I got "invalid message display" on line 200. I guess it's no big deal
I got that error too.
I'll try and get the error fixed soon and upload the game again.

I just fixed the bug Timosity IMed me about - being able to give the payrise to Joe over and over again. I thought it was the most serious one, although I don't think it really interferred too much with the game.
I also had a look at the rope thing, and I wasn't getting that message. I toyed around with it and I think it's also fixed now. ;D
Download impossible for me - "no such file to be found on the server". Could be temporary? While you have been fixing bugs? I will try later, hoping the file is there.
Having really enjoyed and appreciated NIAR, I am definitely impatient to download Casablanca.

yep, I can't download it either, guess I'll try later...
I just tried again from my site and I could. In any case I got a few people to dl it last week from different parts of the planet (UK, US, Finland, Australia, Spain) and they all could.
I thinks it's more of an issue with the server not allowing dls at times than anything else, really.
