I just d/l it and my virus scanner picked up a virus in MAGSGAME.exe
MAGSGAME.exe was infected with Win32.Pinfi.A virus
it cleaned it but you should scan your drive and re upload the file.
I'll play it soon
Edit: I guess the virus was intended for vel, right
If only i was that clever timosity....i`ll sort out file and upload new one.

OO! This game is awesome! The intro, the explosion, the soundeffects, the conversations, and ofcourse the art and puzzles all GREAT!

Its my attempt to show mr.vel that even in 11 days you can make a game for mags that is`nt complete shit.....like some i don`t want to mention...
Hope you did`nt get any problems with the bug....i`m sorting that out at the moment ....i hate windows xp and norton.....nothing but virus bugs...my machine is giving loads of greif i just hope i can get the file back up quiickly..

Yes the next severed hand game.....is the prequel to flashbax.....in production as we speak.
When i made this game i could have snowballed in to a 15 - 20 room game with more characters and such....
But the clock was ticking and i wanted to present a complete package unlike other MAGS games ...including a intro,a few characters,some puzzles ,sfx,music and ending.
Which i have delivered ....Hopefully with not many bugs.

Nice, foz. I really enjoyed this, especially for an 11 day MAGS game :) Good puzzles, definitely, and I liked your use of multiple AGSers (can't say I was expecting my role ;)) Keep up the good work!
I know I don't post much, but I always laugh out loud when reading the various fights and arguments that seem to regularly break out between forum members. The natural evolution of this must be what foz has put out here, he's gone and made a great game that will, in quite good taste, piss Vel off to no end...
I hold no hostility towards you Vel, and indeed I eagerly await this games review in the next agsEzine ;D
Anyway, I enjoyed the game foz, and you've got my vote (well I AM kind of IN it, so I can't really deny you THAT... ;D)

the clock is still ticking very slowly, it's only half way through the month, maybe you could have made it even better.
And there are other mags games with a complete package, one of the best ever was 'who killed kenny rogers' - by 2ma2, and mine in feb had about a 10 min intro, crappy puzzles, distorted story, explosive ending.

It left me in a good mood after it finished, which is what a comedy game should do, well done in such a short time, just think what you could do in a month.

Just played it. Now I know you made this game to offend me - And guess what? Your effort has been in vain. I am not offended - it was a good game. Though lots o' typos. Not bad. If you make a serious game someday, I'll play it.

just one controversial part, when you have the melted tyre, and you try to give it to the scientist, it says it should be flesh coloured, now I'm sure you're aware that skin colour comes in quite a variety of shades, maybe you should just re-word it.

This game roxorz!! The ending is sooo cool, and untill now I like all your games very much. I made me really laugh, that phone ringing at the end ....ReMiXoR!! GREAT GREAT GREAT! In my opinion is this game far better than buccaneer, but maybee it's just my taste, as Vel said, that his taste is really different than mine ;)

This is good one, really good work in such a small time. I even liked this one more than Flashbax. Although the best MAGS game is still Who killed Kenny Rogers? in my opinion.

The game was very tongue in cheek as a result of vel`s harsh review of flashbax.......
I can take critism but i thought vel still has a problem with the risky parts which clouded his outlook of the game......
As a result lots of banter which on my part(is in a playful way...)
went to and fro...
I made this as i liked the subject this month and i wanted to show vel.....
a recent winner of mags.....that a better standard than 3 rooms no puzzles crap interface ....could be achieved in a short time.
I think vel takes things to heart and thats the way he comes across....
I made this for a laugh and did`nt result to some of the ideas i could of used.......
Like the bit where he`s computers blown up....he says:
i `ll have to find something else to do with my spare time.......
(I refrained from the obligatory wanking scene)......flashbax is my smutty game and thats where that sort of thing will stay ....
Vel you should understand this game has a little dig a you but not much.
Your the main character for f*** sake.....and also the part at the end ......
Did remixoor kill him.......i left that for you guys to decide thats why you did`nt see anything.......

Foz, I added recess to the ags games page 2 weeks ago. And the ags ezine gets WAY more downloads than any mags game. Anyway, this game is good, and I will most probably vote for it.

It was fun to play as Vel. I always wanted to be a hot popular guy with a grey hat. Though, the personality doesn't seem much like him.
Vel's rug disappears and reappears.

EXCELLENT work here, Foz. The graphics, the animation and even the user interface just ooze quality. The humor and the oh-so-subtle digs at AGS community members were nicely done. I've never played Flashbax, but I think I'll be checking that out soon.

Beautiful work. Loved it, and didn't come across a single bug. I haven't played that many, but this is by far the best MAGS game I've seen! In fact, puzzle wise, I found this better than Flashbax. Sure, it was easy, but the pacing was great. I love your graphics, those colors are just so intense, and the character designs are wonderful.

I just tried the link and its got the new version on when i d/load....
On the map screen theres a new location added from the start after the explosion....
If anyone else has the same problem let me know......

theres nothing wrong FOZ, I played it right after your update, and it's all ok... with the chicken and the winestore... Great game, and I loved playing it again, because you fixed those bugs in the dialogs!

Heh, rather amusing game, nice use of music and graphics.
Great inclusion of Arkwright as the shopkeeper, although he wasn't stuttering when he spoke in the game.

I'm not sure when it comes up on the map, but there is a shop (or shed) with one bottle on the shelf and a guy behind the counter, maybe try some other stuff first so the shop appears on the map????

In case I vote for this game, I'm not going to vote because it makes fun of Vel. I'm going to do that because of the beatiful graphics, good puzzles, humor, etc. IF.
But yes, I really liked it. The end was excellent, not b/c of what happened to Vel, but because of remixor coming up like that... I cracked a big time when he took the mask of... :D Good game, I like the room-to-room moving system... no need to cycle cursors every time when want to go to the map... :)
Whos to say anything really happened to vel maybe he just fainted........
I left that open to whatever you think happened....

I've played Apocolypse and Flashbax and I've to say that you've done a really good job.
Althought I've to say that the Scream final was useless, the game plot was enough sarcastic versus Vel and nice to follow for anyone not involved in your questions.
That scene was a bit like the wanking, an extra that you could avoid working on making the plot a deeper...
Really good work (I'd like my first ags game to be at least half good as yours),

The scream bit was a way of putting the horror element in.....i refrained from showing any violence......and as already stated vel could have fainted rather than been killed.........who knows.
i`m glad you liked the game and hope you will vote....
The point was not the violence, 5 days a stranger was stronger and I liked it REALLY much.
I wanted only to say that hte scream extra final was (in my opinion) useless and really distant from the sarcastic plot that was already a good and nice way to reply to Vel without "exceeding".

Well (again I may be biased here) that section was after the whole story and credits were done, so it wasn't necessarily time when he could have been doing more plot-related things. To me it was more just a sort of bonus sequence the player gets for finishing the game and sitting through the credits. The whole premise of the game was funny enough that I didn't think it detracted from the rest.

when you see yourself in someone else's game it's supposed to be the more funnier, and if Vel and Minimi don't think it's wrong it's okay.
Very nicely done though and the game idea was good too
Rather generic story and idea, but immensely cool and smooth in graphics and technical resorts.
You're obviously a talented designer, it would be great if you didn't resign from making games.

Wow, I like what I see so far.But there is no shop that appears after I try to grab minimi's brains and talk to Hannibal about the wine. Is it because I have to do something first? I have the screwdriver, hammer and chisel, chainsaw, mop, sink from kitchen, leaflet and blue prints. I have given the crumbs to the over-sized chicken already.
