What is a Photoshop Phriday?
Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images.
Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or any other programs can be used.
See this link:
http://www.somethingawful.com/photoshop/
And for other examples, see here:
http://www.worth1000.com/
The two above websites should give a fair idea of what is involved.
Also, make sure your image doesn't exceed the width of the screen -- If it does, I will delete it.

What do I have to do?
This week's Photoshop Phriday is: "Real Life Puzzles"
This one is a little more advanced than previous ones.
Simply photoshop two or more real life images to make a replica of a famous adventure game puzzle/scene.
For example:
Also, don't tell which puzzle/scene it is -- See if people can guess it.
If you guess, make sure you *hide* your answer.
Special thanks to Esseb for this idea!
K here's my entry :)
shouldn't be too hard to figure out
(http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/swampjump.gif)
At first I thought it was Sam n Max (the puzzle at the bungee tarpits), but the hooded guy can only mean Bobbin, Manny, or the Manhunter.
I'm stumped -- Anyone else want to try?

Here's another one -- very easy this one:

EDIT: I got N3T's entry after doing a little research, but I haven't played the game in N3T's entry.
Spoiler
The dumpster-dwelling chocoholic from the Tex Murphy games, yes?

I would think it's Ben punching his way out of the dumpster in Full Throttle.
DING DING -- Remixor got it :)
What about my first one?
P.S. Just added a note to hide your guesses so it doesn't spoil the fun for others.

You didn't play StS 2??
Spoiler
Ben: MI2 of course (I think)
I gotta say, this is one of my favorite Photoshop Phridays... great idea!
EDIt: forgot my spoiler tags
remixor: right you are.
By the way, I actually made two versions of the monkey wrench picture. The first one didn't quite convey what I wanted. You can probably see why:
Don't click at shool or work, kids! (http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/http://smindent.tripod.com/wrench_mistake.jpg)
N3T: Nope, never played it -- played StS1 though.

Kyrandia 3: Malcolm's Revenge - By far the best Kyrandia game and one of the cooler adventures
I kinda figured it was a kyrandia game, but I still think 1 is the besht :)

Discworld
Duzz: thats the best adventure game ever imo. The ends of the earth is the reason I think so.
Spoiler
BOYD: That's from Grim Fandango, when you have to get the metal detector out of the giant litter box.
I always prefered the second kyrandia, The third had too many annoying bits like the jail sequences and the jungle maze... and that hand thing was cool.
The second one was cool. The heroine was a lot different from most adventure game females (Not perky & goody-goody) and she kicked so much ass over Brandon (Annoying little stick-up-his-arse dude). The hand was really cool too, the different worlds were amazing and the art was excellent. I think the reason the 3rd sticks in my mind so much is that Malcolm was such an a-hole. Random comments like, "Ah, squirrels. I like squirrels," and, "Clouds, I like clouds," followed by multi-clicking or randomly said, "Squirrels.. he he.. *boom!*" I dunno, I liked the whole good vs. evil scenario even if the consciences were overly obnoxious. I definately prefer the 2D art of the previous ones, though. Argh, this photoshop phriday (eat a dick, eric) is becoming Adventure Game Talk & Chat.
argh this photoshop phriday is becoming a background blitz!
More photoshops! BLARG!!
DG HUNGRY!!!
Here's another one:

Nice one DG.
But what is it from????
Look at that cowboy on the cliff and see those snails falling down -- Big clue! ;)
Well that would mean it's

FPFP
. But I thought the cowboy was a pirate or perhaps a soldier from the revolutionary war.. and the snails I couldn't pick out even after you mentioned them, until I'd started at the picture for 10 seconds or so.. they blend into the landscape making it look like a slope instead of a cliff. Good idea for one, though.
Yeah, good idea -- poorly implemented.
