Placeholder Name: Minion
I'm not quite sure what possessed me to create this charactor. Maybe I was sick of all those Evil Minions which are dragons, ogres, trolls, etc etc. Why not RABBITS? They are EVIL, after all. But I'm set that this creature, however much that it looks like one, is NOT a rabbit. :P For starters, it's green.

C+C on this pic, maybe? And suggestions on names would be very appreciated. I'm failing to think of one.

Hi, Scavenger, the link to the image doesn't seem to work!

I'd be happy to comment once it's visible.  ;)

When remote linking, you must use the anonymizer link infront of it, especially coming from freewebs.com

Right click on the picture i linked for you for how to do it.

Oh, and for crits, I would show the other foot, but its really a good drawing.  He seems sad.  And the shading on the other hand and ear seem too dark compared to being in the same light, as far as I can tell from just this picture.  If, in the game, he is halfway in a door of a house or a shop window, then it would be fine, but if hes out in the open, I would change and lighten the shadow on the back arm and ear.
- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

I agree that the shading seems a bit too drastic. However, as with most things, if this effect is consistent throughout the game the darkness can be attributed to style.

Sad is the correct word for the look on Mr. Flooper's* face.

If this is what you were going for, it's dead on. Otherwise, if you needed a more evil gaze, I refer you to a comment made by Tom Savini (movie monster make-up FX guru), "Forty-five degree angles = EVIL."

Arch the brows into a 'V' and you'd be set.

Well, I can't help but meddle, so I've posted a redraw of one eye with a 45 degree angled brow and the other as you drew it:

*(Note: Look how slyly I suggested a name for the character. I'm good.)

Woo! Replies! :P And critique :)

Scummbuddy:
Yup, it was definately too much to have contrast shading like that. It wasn't a style. And, uh, the other foot got messed up when I scanned it :P

Penguin:
Like, wow. I love that eye :P Its so refreshingly evil :P
I tried increasing the evilness using Minion Shop Pro and DastardlyPaint, using a Malevolence Filter at 30%, but I think... I put the numbers in wrong.

I think I made it 300% :o *is scared*

Another great reason why you should never EVER use filters! :)

I liek the new style and the evil brow. The nose does seem a little out of place now, though. What with all the other high contrast colors abound.
