Hello to all,
This is my first post so I'll include a hi, but I do actually have a technical glitch as well.
I can't get any sound or music to play in my game, I'm labelling the files sound1.wav or music1.wav, putting them in the right folders and rebuilding the VOX files. But when I play the game I just get a glitch saying (room16); sound 1 failed to play.
What should I do, my game will not have life without music?
Please post back.
Bye.

Hello and welcome.

It seems like you are having a soundcard problem, as you seem to have set the sound in the game correct (The sound&music files are in the game's root dir, where you got the ac2game.dta, acsprset.spr (or whatever) etc. files, right?). Run the game's setup and check you have the sound&music devices set right in there. If still nothing works, update the sound card drives, just in case...
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

I had a similiar problem for about one or two weeks ago. I got midi files from Belphegor and couldn't play them because the were named MUSIC1.MID but when I changed them into MUSIC1, it worked again. Have you tried to just name MUSIC1 or SOUND1? Maybe it works that way.
