Its not anywhere near done but I thought I should start a thread to see if anyone spots errors in the roughdraft

A good start!
I'd say the cutout area to show the cave/basement (?) below is too bubbly. Maybe that shape should be rougher. Otherwise, it's difficult to judge at this early stage.

Why a ladder and no staircase?

This house would be a fire hazard.  :)

If it were a barn, the ladder would make sense because that's often the only way to the hayloft. Maybe that will help?

Plus, no one ever expects a secret underground room accessible only through the barn.
