Sprite for crits-cartoon style

Im still really working on my style and Ive thinking of moving into the direction of "cartoon style low res sprites" (if there is such a thing )
Well heres my first try,

Im in the mood forÃ, 8) summer 8) so the classic burnt, overweight man wearing speedos'
paint overs welcome

Not too shabby, if i do say so.

Altho you might want to do something about his head.
IMO its
A: Too big. I think it should be 60 or 70% of the size it is now to get a good proportion.
B: Too round, try giving it a more human like physique, now it looks like a big balloon

The body it selfs looks fine, no comment there.

I quite like the sprite, but I agree with arboris.

Perhaps a more reddish/pinkish tone would be good, since he's supposed to be sunburnt.

Also, having a darker contour where his head shines probably does not make much sense. I guess that's up to the style you're aiming for.

Still it looks good.

Heh! I like the style! Just add some shading and it will look very good.

Im glad you like it Yeah I understand about the head I will sort that out and Il put some more burnt areas and maybe more shading but I wanted to make it kind of simple I will update soon!

It is meant for the cartoon style e.g. marge from the simpsons has blue hair
