  How do you get to underground cavern? I have the handkerchief in which Stefano mentioned that was needed.  Also, can you get past the "spider" to the path beyond where the handkerchief was located?

Worked for me..... typing several times then LOOKING at computer... then it came up.     As for your question about Fenalda's office,  I could not do any more than you did ... so I started playing Slug Princess

You have to look at the monitor BEFORE the typing animation ends. There is no number of times you have to type.

I was just about to reply to your post when I saw that you had gotten the handkerchief.
I have not gotten any farther than you......

  One thing is that I have gotten the "creature" between the cliffs to come out part way.....by placing something on the ground.  But that is as far as I can get him to come out.   
I still have not gotten into the underground area... nor have I gotten anywhere with the  standing stone..... I have bumped it a few times... but nothing happened.

Work with one of your inventory items and something that you can see from the limb from the tree.   Also,  I have gotten further......  keep getting killed.... don't know if I have the inventory items to get past where I am

You can paraglide from the top of the tree to quite a few places. Make sure you found out all of them. In one of those places, you can find out how to fight monsters...

You don't have to carry all items. But you'll have to have them near when you get to the mosnters...
