I read the computer message but I don't know what to do with it. please help me...

Notice the weird syntax of the document.

If you read the first letter of each line vertical, you will see the message “Get the rope”.

Click on ‘Start' to shut down the computer

Please help me once more... I talked with Glers (nice creature :-))but now I can't fint the snowy area :-( In the walkthrough, there is some way to the west but I can't see it. Where have I to look for it?
