eyetoy as webcam problem

Hey guys,
i recently downloaded the drivers for my eyetoy to act as a webcam. Now, the problem i have is below.

It's really blurred. I know this is kind of odd but if anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated.

Well, first of all, try plugging it into the PS2 and try using the eye-toy on there. If it's clear on that, most likely you need to focus the camera whilst using it in the PC. If not... at least webcams arn't expensive.

Well there must be a way to get it to work properly, as I use my eyetoy webcam myself. Don't forgot you can adjust the focus also on the actual camera itself by rotating the circle shaped bit at the front.

If after our advice it still looks blurred like that, maybe try a different driver? After all the qaulity of my camera is actually surprisingly better than some of the PC specific cams I've seen.

It's kind of funny seeing other people doing this.  I thought I was the only one.  I mean, it's a USB cable, so I figured, I can probably find something on Google.  That was about 5-ish months ago.

Putting the eyetoy to good use after the novelty ran out on the PS2!

Did I ever mention how I recording myself with the eyetoy on the PS2 using a video recorder and played back one of my own songs and made a video? Which then, appeared on PSM2 magazine and on it's DVD? It was such an honour!
