hello folks

I'm currently having some probs with finding an appropriate size for my characters
Currently i am using paintbrush with an area of 20 X 50 Pixels and I'm stuffed coz me being a fool drew a background to incorporate it first so now I'm having to start again does anyone have any nice scales i can work with or any good tips on this
i have tried the tuts but got fed up with all the dead links

CheersÃ,

PS i find that this question is appropriate for this area as it is about art LOL

I'm confused as to what you mean... are you asking about making character sprites the right size relative to the backgrounds?  (I'm not sure what that has to do with your paintbrush size, though).  If it is, I think a common tip people give here is to draw the background at the appropriate resolution, and make the character 90% (I believe) of the door height.

im workin on a game at 640 by 400 i have just had an idea and it seems to be working for now though but it does make sense to make the character 90% of the door size though cheers for that
