What to do with a dead body?

Hi

I'm looking for some ideas on a puzzle, and would appreciate any you guys care to give me.

The Character wakes up in his apartment, with a dead girl's body next to him. He doesn't remember what happened. Looking around reveals that last night was one of passion and drugs (and amnesia).

So, the guy must get rid of the body. He must take it to the dumpster, as throwing ir out the window will probably, attract some attention.

What kind of obstacles does this journey (carrying a dead girl) present?


I have this so far:

1) While carrying her, on the distance a door opens, an old lady coming his way. He must kiss the corpse to apperar as if making out while the lady gets to her apartment.

2) A dog grabs her feet, and he must get rid of it before it attracts too much attention.

3) He gets her into the elevator, but a shoe falls off. When he goes to get it back, the elevator door colses. Taking the body with it. He must run and distract the person which called the elevator before the door opens.

Any more ideas would be deeply appreciated.

I don't know - it's an idea that needs critic...  :

Cliches... I've seen those things too often in movies.
I have 2 questions.

1.Why doesn't the guy call the cops? Thats the thing most people would do.

2. Did he kill a girl? That just doesn't sound like a guy I want to play with... Even if he didn't trowing a girl's body in a garbage container is nasty enough and it doesn't give the character any appeal.

I disagree. I'd like to dispose of a body in an adventure. Different strokes and all that.

People post stories here all the time, you can even post things that aren't adventure-related, like e.g. your new website. This is not the graphics lounge.

Krysis: He doesn't call the cops because of the drugs that were involved.
Plus he doesn't know if he's innocent.

Maybe you could add another way to solve this puzzle, like wrapping up the body first, or hiding it in a trolley.
The guy could even chop it to pieces and feed it to the dog

He could cut it into pieces, pack the pieces in dry ice, and mail the parts to the four corners of the earth with no return address (from the post office, naturally, not his home).

But I lean a little bit toward Krysis on this one. I think if he's going to be able to do something like dispose of the body, many players will want to see that justified emotionally/psychologically or they'll be turned off by his lack of emotion.

Well from what I read, it sounded like he wanted us to help him make his puzzle, not critique it. Whatever.

Ok, this thing has gotten more controversy than I expected.
To help you sleep betteer at night, here are some spoilers.

The idea is for it to be a dark comedy. the guy doen't call the cops, as stated above, because he doesn't know if he did it.

And in the end, it turns out that the girl is not dead, just hitted her head on the bed while having sex, and she'll wake up in the dumpster, after the player has done all he can to get rid of the "body" (without killing her). so she looks dead.

Maybe yodaman is right on that this should be on another forum, as asides from critisism, I do want some help and ideas from you guys on the obstacles that might be presented. Yet it seemed (at the time) as the best forum to post this.

Alright I just came up with some ideas. Perhaps right when he sees the dead body, (validatiing it and everything) her hears the door bell. So you can use that. Also you don't need to get the body out right away, but I say allow more than one possibility with everything. Like you could for instance dispose of the body or frame somebody.

It'd be nice to have a dumpster located conveniently below his apartment window

Perhaps the puzzle part could be that there are bars over the window and he has to find a way to squeeze the body through or something? Just a thought
