CW you're one of the greatest guys, but please take this lightly.

Did you not ever wonder about strawberry?

when I was 10, I wrote much better than you do.
I could say piss off!...but that would prove a lot of things that are not true.Things like that you could have said better not nicer. As I looked though my old post I noticed my friends writing came out the same way it does when I use my phone bunched up so I knew it was not how i write but only when I use my phone. Oh! and one more thing /:] - stop talking about fake flavor stuff because I might as well change the name to why do I hate FAKE flavored snacks.

Getting upset? Icey, looking at some of the posts, I don't think your friends are a good example to follow on AGS posting 'etiquette' if you may.

Personally I usually use proper grammar and spelling in text messages, I don't care if that makes me a 'n00b' but it's a damn breath of fresh air.

The point of posting 'in a mature manner' (as stated above the text-box of this site's reply to message option page, also a part of a summarized "three golden rules" segment- simply put explore the contents of the page) is *not* to type via leet-speak or MSN chat style. (although I think lol is allowed, no? maybe? no? *I* better CHECK the rules

I always felt the random posts up to now had a sort of metaphorical meaning really...fake flavours.

PS. I spell better too at 10 years old, then again I distinctly remember when the teacher wouldn't let us go home on time unless we spelled something right.

...Dermandeteculites... ugh...

"I'M ONLY 15 ALL/MOST OF US TEENS TYPE LIKE THAT"

The point is you're not meant to. Honestly I've noticed that the people in my university act like kinder gardeners sometimes...okay, most of the time. (age range 18-23)

Is it just me or are the new generation of teenagers/ young adults becoming more and more...well I dare not say it.

Kinda reminds me of that movie I saw about this average man who went far into the future to learn that, when he got there, he became the smartest man on earth.

Well I guess when someone says the moon is smaller than an elephant then we're all doomed.

Oh man.. you speak of Idiocracy, correct?  That movie was absolutely terrible.  The only enjoyable part of the movie that I can remember was the Gatorade replacing the water in fountains.  Haha.  Silly Americans and their soft drinks / power drinks.  I can see this being the norm... one day... one day..

People are already eating onion rings that have no onions in them and strawberry flavoured foods that aren't even strawberry flavoured.

...

I feel like crying now.

Some members are part of this community and they are younger than you are! I ,when I joined this forums, was kind like you, some of the guys probably remember it. It's not much beauty. I still go posting like an ass, and sometimes my post aren't really clear on their purpose. But the difference is that you don't want to behave. I don't know why I bother really. Most the AGS regulars have probably broken the 3rd rule, to make you see. Including me, and I justify them.

To the rest, this took off as a discussion, because I'd rather talk about flavours. It seems more important to me. If you think this is annoying, then this whole Oceanspirit Dennis and icey games is for me as well. But I stopped protesting on the AGS forums, cause I guess some of you are having fun.

This whole deal has taken too much time away from cool parts of the forums. Vince took some great effort to make a really great competition and barely those that participated voted for it. And that's a shame cause overall this would have been the highlight of the month. If I'm wrong, please treat me lightly this is my opinion on this matter.

Dualnames, Stupot, etc, call me stupid, but I honestly do not see the reason to fill this thread with nonsense. In fact, I find this teribbly annoying. Even more annoying than icey games' bad grammar.

Isn't what you do a violation of forum rules on its own?

I think this is just a matter of giving up on the kid.

I'm personally not going to acknowledge anything written by him until he can demonstrate these:

My suggestions:
Learn and master the English language.
Spell check things that you write.
Beta test your games before you release them.

And I'm not sure it would be the worst idea for others in the forum who are fed up to do the same.

Nikolas

I think that icey got the general gist: Write decent English, with decent format, grammar and spelling (<-unlike me for the last part). Write sensible stuff and don't bother people all the time. Read the rules.

MOST impotantly, relax and have a good time.

I was just having fun and enjoying the rare opportunity to post something completely random. Personally, I hope icey works out. Remember when FlukeBlake was at his flukeblake-iest? And he turned out just fine. Once icey grows up a bit (and settles down a lot), I hope his enthusiasm will be a real asset to the AGS community.

In the mean time, however... Well, he can be a bit much sometimes (or most of the time), I'll admit. But I have hope. :)

1. Don't quote unless it makes sense. You've quoted the entire, lengthy post immediately above yours. Don't you realize how utterly pointless this is? However, there are some grown-ups here who also do this, and it's not your worst offense. Just stop it. THINK before you quote.

2. Stop posting from your phone.

3. You seem to be genuinely interested in why you keep getting mocked. But you don't seem to get it when we tell you or are simply to lazy to put some effort into your posts. Other teens posting like that isn't an excuse. It's the simple matter of the golden rule; you wouldn't like to "decrypt" our posts first, right? Why make us do it? Show us that you don't have the IQ of a bean bag and PUT SOME FUCKING EFFORT INTO YOUR POSTS.

Icey

For people that want to come here and ignore me then pile random stuff on the topic why bother its just gonna get it locked. It wasn't stupid it really just a question.

Oh, and I'm sorry but I gotta stay "Hip" to the topic or else when I come home I'll have (5+) reply's build-ed up so i'm gonna keep using my sidekick cause whats the point of paying for the web if I cant use it cause someone else so? so until you pay for my bill I'm gonna keep using what I pay for with my money. All I got to do is pay attention to how words are placed in the text box

As ppl abav sayed, u shud tryto maek ur post read-ible.2 coz it was hard to ridit coz u heve to sqint(?)

Oliwerko

Exactly what Jim said.

I don't even really bother to read your posts cause most of the time I can't really get a grip on what you're trying to say.

Dataflashsabot

Quick question, do you actually have internet access on your PC? Assuming yes: Please, PLEASE stop posting from your phone. itjutsmksurpstscompltlyunredabel.

Hey, vertigoaddict, I'd rather have a kinder gardener than a nastier one, but it's just those kindergartners I can't stand ;) Muphry's law strikes again (yep, that's Muphry's, not Murphy's).

Icey games - good, this is much more readable. You just need to pay a little more attention to how you write, as you say, and then others will pay more attention to what you write. Personally, I think it's OK to submit messages from a phone provided you make the extra effort necessary to ensure they are understandable.

Also it'd be nice if you stopped with all the random abbreviations for your so called games, or just stopped talking completely about those crappy training games you keep smearing over our database. You're young and your posts show you lack social skills to be participating on a forum like this. Quiet up and grow up, and you won't be fighting a barrage of dislike. The first task is to sharpen up your writing skills if you want to participate on the forum, and you managed that in your last post. Your second task is to stop posting training games on the database & stop using abbreviations for said games like we're all supposed to know what you're on about. Then in time, perhaps you too will be taken more seriously. Good luck.
