I just booked my flight! 

I'll be arriving in Dublin at 10:30am on Friday the 19th (so I guess I'll be tagging along with you, Snarky) and leaving at 10:30am Sunday the 28, so I'll be along for the hostel Friday and Saturday nights.

I've got nearly the same flights as Grundislav it seems, plus 5 minutes.

Thanks Berian, but I did manage to find some help with that. I booked 8 beds in a 16 bed dorm earlier today, and another 8 are being booked tonight or tomorrow.

The first post is being updated periodically with arrival times under the Attendees list and with date and time of departure under the Dublin Weekend list.

Me, AGA, Jake, Davy+Kim are currently planning on booking a ferry and driving across from the UK. We're all planning on doing the two nights in Dublin afterwards and going home on the Sunday.

AGA is not coming back with us on the ferry, so we'll have a spare place coming back to the UK if that's helpful for anyone?

Does that mean you will have a car there? Or do you get to the ferry by train?

Yes we'll be going by car, hence the spare seat available for the return trip if anyone needs it

Another thing: One car at Mittens won't help a lot for daytrips. But me and my boyfriend will rent a car after the Dublin weekend anyway. Would it be a good idea to rent the car for Mittens too? With two cars at least half the people can make a daytrip. So is anyone of the people arriving in Dublin about the same time as I do interested in going to Rosslare by car? Do we even need a second car?
Otherwise we will pick up our car in Dublin on Sunday noon to avoid parking trouble in Dublin.

Just checked the prices, the additional week + Dublin (without parking!) would be at least 300â,¬ more expensive so I guess I will take the train.

Oh, seems like I've missed a few steps... at least those about Dublin. So I suppose I'll get there by train too and I hope that buying a ticket once I'm there will be soon enough.

You are on the list for the dorm room so all you need to do is turn up with us The price per person is â,¬31 plus a refundable â,¬20 deposit for the weekend. They require damage deposits for any group of 8 or more.

All the times listed by our names are times for arrival at Dublin airport. The actual arrival for those on the first train (leaving at 13:30) is closer to about 16:20

Well, our ferry takes us straight from the UK to Rosslare, and Rosslare to Dublin is a 5 hour round-trip by car. So let's not start making any promises at this stage!!

I think she meant picking him up from Wexford around 22:00, which is as far as he can get that night with public transportation. I checked distances between the house and Wexford bus station and it says it is just under 20 minutes by car.

Yes, I meant from Wexford, which is only 15km from Rosslare.

About the extra car space...

Would the ferry company require passenger information when the ticket is booked and would it allow you to have different information for each way?  I may have to take you up on the offer!  When would you need to know by?
