Alright, since Christmas is on its way, and I couldn't think of anything else, I've decided to do a Santa Claus related sprite jam. Right about this time, old Saint Nick is making his list and checking it twice. He's got to weed out all the naught kids, you see, and make sure the nice kids get the loot they want.

Here's what Santa wants you to do:

1. Create two pictures. One of a kid doing something naughty. The other of a kid doing something nice. (You may have the same kid in both pictures, just acting in opposite ways)
2. The total size (both pics together) cannot be over 160x100
3. The pictures must have different color values from one another. In other words, if one picture is predominantly red, the other could be predominantly green. You can of course use some colors in both pictures, but the most dominant colors in either picture should be different.

That's all. Remember to be as creative as possible. Santa doesn't like kids with boring sprites!

Good luck.

Do the kids have to be in a Christmas related scene? And can I have it where the main colors are switched (like red on top, black on bottom in one, and black on top, red on bottom in the other)?

Err... Nevermind. Here's my entry:

The colors are sort of opposite. Hehe. Oh, and it's Christmas in Hawaii so that's why there's no snow or anything.  ;D

Here is my entry! If you think it´s too nasty, have in mind that my first thought was to include Michael jackson in it!  ;D

Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Ben

You sicko  :P

Heh.. You both have good entries here. The coloring is fine, Scott. It's not exactly what I had in mind, but I like the idea. And no, you don't have to show any direct reference to Christmas.

Good work. More!

Had an idea for a webcomic with this character. 'Thought this might be a good oppotunity to practice drawing her.

Yeah! I used AGS smileys, I thought it was funny... Even so, nobody can blame me, I think that the most difficult part of the sprite was the hands and the cat, and they´ve been made by me.

P.S: I know you´re not blaming me, matey, just if anybody cares.

P.S.S: Yeah, I´ve changed my nick, but the bare "Farlander" will come back, I´m just looking for a nice avatar and thinking in a really funny signature.

This week's winner: Farlander!

Really disgusting and cool idea.. And more importantly, your sprites have a nice style. I like the simple, cartoony look.

So congrats to Farlander. You can host the next sprite jam..

ScottDoom: Nice. Good coloring, like I said, and funny idea.

Eggie: I like the style of your characters. You could have taken more time on it, but it still looks good.

Inkoddi: Heh.. I love it. They never call it grafitti when dorks paint it  :P

Good work, everyone. Farlander, you know the drill..

Ooooh! First entry, and a win! Thanks to all guys, tecnically, the other entries are better, I think that I´ve only won because Ben is a very naughty guy.

* Lance Farlandstrong thinks in the next sprite jam.
