Sorry this is a bit late, I wasn't expecting to win...

This week's sprite jam:

A timepiece...

An inventory item with something to do with time.
I want to see clocks, hourglasses and time machines, people!

Size: 50x50
Colours: No more than 36 million.

BOYD1981

Here is my contribution:
I present to you the exclusive "Back to the future special collection pack."
It includes the Delorean, an easy to use timetraveling car, you never know when you need one.
Doc brown figure, you never know when you need that old flux capacitor repaired.
And An exact replica of Doc browns pocketwatch, you never know when you need to check the time.

Bum Buh buh-bummm!!!  My first sprite jam image!  Yay!  :

Hehehe.  You know you want it.  Only $90 after mail-in rebate.

I fail at art.

Whoops, I have never entered this competition before. Can somebody tell me what are the main rules? I mean, am I allowed to make something photoshoppy as well, or does it *have* to be spritey?

Kweepa

I think photoshoppy is fine, as long as it looks like it could be a game sprite.
Still waiting for Purity of the Surf II

Moox

Its a model of stonehenge, the coolest clock ever

Steve's right. You can use any art programme you, like 2d or 3d, to create an image that could be a game sprite. What you aren't supposed to do is paste together other peoples work.

Looking forward to your entry, Guybrush.

Now you might be wondering what this has to do with time...

It's for the game I'm working on, which is called Legend of Alajah: The Orbs of Time. The development of this game is completely secret and *nobody* knows it but myself and my partner (I think), so that's why you haven't seen it in the "AGS Games in Production" forums yet (Or maybe it's because I've been expirementing with different art styles for the past few months).

Anyway, this is an Orb of Time, the Orb of Past to be specific.

EDIT: Yeah, I know it has wrong shading and all that... I'll make a better one for next competition. Also, this won't be the actual sprite in the game, but the orb design (with its spikey stuff around) will be probably the same

Ali

Thanks to everyone who entered, or debated how many colours you can fit into a 50x50 grid, but I've chosen Silvor because I really want a replica Doc Brown.

It's up to you to post the next Sprite Jam Silvor.
