:D

Any idea how to get it to run properly on XP? Doxbox only makes it worse :(
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

I have it and I can play it normally without using dosbox ::)
And I do recall something that dosbox made it run even worse, BUT also normally in windows it runs sucky so I deleted the game :P
I do have a answer to your burnin' question:
Buy a really old pc ;)

About the topic:
NONE! at the moment ;)
I really have some problems with my V-card so I can't run games I like.
But the games I used to like are:
1. Warcraft 2 !!!
2. Star Trek judgement rites.
3. Some of the star wars jedi knight series.
4. Hitman I & II & III
But star trek doesn't run anymore cause I ruined the cd :'(

Ishmael

It don't seem to like my soundcard... In dosbox the sound is ok, but nothing else works...

Yes I have that problem with older games as well. The game runs but I get no sound or just really crappy sounds with more static than the sound of geigerteller at tsjernobyl.

I didn't feel like reading through all nine pages of this thread, so I don't know how many times this has been said already, but GRIM FANDANGO is, I believe, the best adventure game of all time.  The music is endearing, the voice acting is spot on, and the characters are the most memorable of any game I've ever played.  It's really a masterpiece, and the colorful mexican take on the film noir style did more than just pay homage to it, it elevated it, they way Bladerunner or China Town did.  I think this is the one game really earned its way into my favorites, as I was old enough to really get it when I played it.  I go back and play, say, Final Fantasy 3, and the characters seem so wooden and the dialogue seems so stilted and poorly translated, but I go back and play Grim Fandango and I really get that same sort of enjoyment I got when I played it the first time.  No other game quite like it.

Ishmael

I was meant to get double boot like that, but I was too lazy to start formating and all...

I really can't wait till san andreas gets available for the PC.
Oh and theres a new game I would like to add to my favs list:
Silent Storm. Its turn based, I never was fond of turn based but this game changed that ;)

madgooseparade

I absolutely adore the Monkey island series and Grim fandango, but I miss that sense of bewilderment that accompanies those huge puzzles. When I go back to play I always remember, at least enough to catch on again...  :'( those were the days. But that's why we make our own equally as challenging back breaking puzzles!! To torture but smother mankind with love

It's of cause one of the best games for the gba. I enjoyed playing it during my holydays in greece.

My favorite game is Lost Patrol (not sure if anyone beside me knows it) followed by Syberia, System Shock and MadTv(not sure if this one was sold outside germany).

Erenan

I meant the one on Playstation. I never played FFT Advance.
