Hi my name is Aidan. I live in New Zealand. Muttley is the nickname I get called in the cricket community. If you dont know what cricket is feel free to msn me and I'll explain it to you.
Im currently 'retired' (unemployed) and work with the local city mission helping out. A big fan of Lucasarts originals. It's sposed to be summer here and its bucketing down with rain right now.

By the way , sorry to be a pest , but could somebody in charge or the person in charge of links please update "AGS Problems and Solutions " and any other links that don't lead to good sites anymore? Please and thank you.

Hello, I'm new here. Being using AGS for two weeks now, and working on a small game. Still having to learn so much. Anyway, I'd like to thank the creator of AGS for this wonderful program. :)

Hi there,

I just wanted to say "hi".
I'm new here and new to ags (using it, not playing!!).  I'm working on a game (of course) but as I'm useless in scripts and I need too much  time with drawing things, it is likely to take ages to finish, although I have the story in my head and the first room is (kind of) working.
Well, nice to meet you all...

Hi Queen Kara,

I just read your first postings and I must say that you really should improve your German. If you´d like to refresh it, then look forward to a game that plays in the German alps, but it will still take some months to be finished because I don´t know too much about scripting yet. The graphics, however, already are idyllic.
(sorry if my English is not very good)

hey my names matt, or (sic)_One1
i'm 16 years old, and I live in Hamilton, Ontario(which is in Canada)
before making AGS games I've been making RPG games on RPG maker 2000/2003/ and XP and I'm a professional at that. If anyone wants to see the game I'm working on now, just talk to me on msn (its Killerdark666@hotmail.com) its extremely good.

and I love adventure games just like everyone else in here. I grew up with monkey island, so I'm naturally a Lucasarts fan guy. I have all lucasart adventure games(none sierra) so at least you have the feel of what kind of games I will be making.

I have been trying from time to time to improve my German.
But since I have so many other interests , it's hard for me to focus on learning and improving languages....
*sighs*
I have a hard time with scripting too but I have been working on some very basic scripting with Ren'Py ...learning it for future projects. Right now I'm just trying stuff out and things are doing ok but anyway  ,I'm getting off the subject.
Thanks for discussing your project.

Hello, I am Moonlight Embrace. I discovered AGS about a few days ago, and I've been reading alot about it. I never had a computer when graphical adventure games were very poopular, so I didn't play the classics (only a demo of Sam and Max). I am, in fact, discovering them for the first time. Great games. My first download was Six Day Assassin.

Nice meeting everyone.

Hiya all!

I thought it'd be fine to introduce myself here... so here it goes.  I'm a 19 year old guy from Finland and I've been into adventure games since I got my first computer. I haven't done any games with AGS, yet ;). My other interests include listening to music and being with my friends. And talking of friends, my best friend Petteri posts here also.

You also might have seen me in some of the pictures Petteri has posted...Oh here's one:

Me on the right side

And by the way, I'm in the army now as well as Petteri so don't expect me to post very much. You might see me in the irc sometimes.

I didn't want to start another topic about this , so I hope it's ok to put here. ( I don't know why it wouldn't be...*shrugs* )
Unless I start getting PM-s or something , asking me to change the post or whatever , I'm going to keep it here but now I'm going to have it in two other places 'cause I think one person had good suggestions about it. Thank you very much.

Although I have posted here some times before, I am still new to the show. Living in a small town in Germany, I'm spending my work time on alternative civilian service; in my free times, though they are sparsely sowed, I'm writing novels and short stories of nearly all genres. Furthermore I am an unsalaried worker on juvenile labour.

I'm trying to create a little adventure on my own, but since I have much work to do, I hope, that I can spend more time on it in my vacancy this summer.

I hope, you all enjoy your time on the AGS forums.

newbieish cheers

Hi Im Alex From Argentina.  I love Adventure games such as Monkey Island or Leisure Suit Larry.  Ive played inumerable quantities of adventure games and won completely just 14 original games (not very good huh?) but now I want to try to fullfill my dream of making my own adventure.

Im gonna practice a lot and then Im gonna risk doing a Serious game

Maybe youll hear from me in a year or so

If there are any new (good) games I would like to know.

Thanks                              Alexhans

Howdy, my name's Matthew Latham. I'm 19 Years old and hail from the good ol' pile of crap called Walsall. I'm an adventure game fan who loves the genre. Huge Monkey Island fan (C'mon, who isn't!). I'm into Cult TV (Sci-Fi and Horror/Fantasy) and Web Series (I like writing as well). I write a column/newsblog for a Web Series Online Magazine.

I'm sure there's more stuff I can say...but I can't think at this moment. Probably because I'm in a Uni Workshop at the moment...

(I'm Doing Games Development at Wolverhampton Uni)

Hi! I'm Álvaro, from Toledo (Spain). I've been using AGS since Summer 2003 and I've achieved nothing but a useless game that gave me a lot of experience with AGS and 3DStudio. Don't ask me to post it because it's a real shit. That game was lost in my hard disk untill I found it again 3 days ago and thought I could use the base to remake it, now writting the storyboard before doing anything (I got stuck because I was just doing the game and the storyboard at the same time). Maybe you'll see a Demo in a few weeks/months, maybe not. But when I finish it, I'll post it so all of you can give it a try.
I would like to say hello from here to my best friend G, and a great AGSer too (He created "The mistery of the Art School")
Nothing more to say, just that I really liked AGS games such as Pleurghburg (or whatever), The uncertainty machine or Bestowers of Eternity (I want to see it continued). Congratulations!!

Hello, my name is Alessandro, 30 years old, from Italy. I found AGS one year ago, but I used it very few times (first I have to draw the backgrounds). I'm a fan of Lucasarts (above all Loom and Monkey Island). Hope to finish my game asap.

Bye
