THIS IS MY STORY...
THAT NIGHT A LIGHT LIT UP THE ROOM. WAS IT A DREAM? WAS IT A NIGHTMARE? NO, IT WAS REALITY... THEY COMUNICATED THROUGH TELEPATHY BETWEEN THEM AND ME, THEY SAID I WAS THE LAST THEY NEEDED, THEY HAD KIDNAPPED 4400 HUMANS. THEY PERFORMED TESTS ON MY BRAIN, AND THEN...

The final touches of the downloadable Demo version are finished. The one currently available will remain the official version for quite a time.The next one released, probably in a few months, will have Wally exploring the town, while the final step will be the complete game in italian, and subsequently translated into english. Some screenshots will be added, just to show that the project is proceeding Good bye !

Looks like the graphics are ripped or painted over from Day Of the Tentacle, Family Guy, and X Files too.

It's everything handmade my friend, try to play it, I draw with paint shop pro 7 the background and Wally, painted with photoshop 7 everything, and the pug, is my dog... in real life. "looks like", but I made them It's similar to this shot http://www.csee.umbc.edu/~evans/DOTT1.jpg , but it isn't painted over, as you can see.

I agree that it doesn't looked ripped or painted over now, but instead of using designs from Family Guy and DOTT, why not use original designs? Both of your backgrounds look like rooms from DOTT and the main character sprite looks exactly like Peter Griffin, with lighter hair.

I have extacly in mind the right words to reply, but in italian.... not in english. I can only say that these forums are FULL of games with graphics ripped online or ingame from INDIANA JONES and MONKEY ISLAND, a thousand games one similar to another... calling these adventures FANGAMES and you ask to me this?!!?!
I love Peter Griffin, I love Day Of The Tentacle, I love XFiles and others aliens stories... I wanna make a parody similar to Scary Movie where I 'quote' all the story, tv movies and games I love from my past.
I think that if you say "why not use original designs?" to me, you must say this question to the 60% of people in AGS forums, bye

I think it would add a lot to the game if you'd only use a similar character instead of Peter itself.
Otherwise I think it looks great, and I love that mix..

Obli ... keep on keepin' on with your game.  Make the game you want to make.  There's always going to be those that disagree or don't like, but don't let that discourage you!

I tried the demo. Seems interesting even though I have no idea what Peter was saying.
I liked the room designs, music, and animations. Didn't like Peter and saturated colors.
It's nice to hear that you are going for a parody with all those things, it can yield very interesting result. Best of luck finishing your game.

I personally love the screenshots. I like the idea very much.

Everyone knows that usually I don't enjoy fangames, or games based on characters etc, but since this is what you want, you're more than welcome to do so. Furthermore I will try the demo (after the 2nd of May, mind you) and the game once released. I can't see why the hussle over some stylistic rip off (not copying, just immitating the style).

Either way 60% is extremely off...

But bottom line, it looks really nice and I will definately give it a try, as well as be waiting for the final release

I tried the demo, and it's alright. The music is okay. Looking forward to the full release (english version). And Nikolas, it's not really imitating the style, it's more like taking a design from another game and colouring over it. I can live with that though. Looks a lot better than some other games I've seen lately.

This game looks fantastic.  Family Guy is hilarious and I love it that you will use Peter's likeness in this game.  Is he going to have the same dimwittedness to him too, or are you just using his likeness and not personality?

Looks good so far! Keep it up. You're not being paid (are you being paid?) to make the game, so do it how you want to do it. Personally I think that Family Guy, DOTT, and X-Files is an... odd, combo. But so far it looks like it's coming along well. Keep it up!

WOW, this is one of the best AGS humor games I have seen in a long time.
