Most everyone has (or has had) a favorite pet animal.  It is time for your pet (or your family pet if you don't have a specific pet of your own) to star in his or her very own adventure game!  But wait -- there's more!

1.  Dimensions cannot be less than 32x32 and must not exceed 192x192.
2.  Pet must be between 8-64 colors, inclusive.
3.  You must tell us your pet's name and any special tricks he or she can do that will come in handy in the game.
4.  You must have fun.

Edit: I increased the maximum dimensions by 64x64.  I'm sure that's more than large enough for an 800x600 game.

Could you add separate high res restrictions, as the theme doesn't call for any particular resolution. 220x220 or similar seems reasonable.

What? Don't you have a sabretooth Spitting Cobra, trained to hunt and kill any whose name ends in "eepwood"? Get with the times...

Dimensions: 52 x 45
Colours: 13 + background
Name: Sabazios
Tricks: Can curl himself into a ring, and then jump through it
Can spit 'poison rings', much like smoke rings
Can do a wheelie on a unicycle
And with the flaps on his neck, he can do this

P.S. Not an entry, as this pet doesn't exist....... yet ;D

The common mouse-eared bat makes an okay pet. Not too eager on being cuddled though. I have some bats living under the tiles of my roof.
They are the coolest animals in my household, and I call them Dennis. All of them.
They all look the same.

67x92pixels, eight colours (without background)

In a game, being a bat is awesome!
* see the world with that super RADAR thing you have
* never be able to hold inventory because you can't bear the load
* fly around convenient sources of light to cast a shadow on the wall that... well...
* eat thrice your weight in bugs and grubs and other really ikky things!

Ghost, I think it's called sonar, not radar.

But I like bats  :).

That's what a sonar does, isn't it?

I've only really had one pet, an ill-tempered fish that I affectionately referred to as 'the fish'.

In his grand adventure series, he fights a world full of conspiracies that only his keen senses are able to detect, confident that any problem can be solved by a punch from one of his trusty fin fists 'Captain Hook' and 'Admiral Knox'.

Leave it up to loomy to actually dress up his pet fish. ::)

Not many people had pets they wanted to devote an adventure game to, which is very sad!

However, Loominous made a nice Irish goldfish whose hot temper and two-finned justice could make for a fun aquatic adventure, and therefore he wins!
