Space Quest IV.5 is a full length fan game in the style of the orginal Sierra Space Quest games with humor, action and adventures.
Version 3.00 is a completely modified game, brought to you by Westend Studios.

Roger returns to Magmetheus from Space Quest XII, where he saved the world once more.
But his adventure is not over now, a young woman asks for help and our hero Roger Wilco tries to help and stumbles into another adventure filled with love, humor, trouble and..... more trouble.



It features now:

    * Full voice acting, including a narrator (but no lip sync)
    * Extended plot compared to the original Version of Space Quest IV.5
    * New Locations

Hello Agentbauer!
Nice game, I love it. On my way to HAL, I found out that I cannot restore a game. Message is:

An exception 0xC00000005 occured in ACWIN.exe at EIP=
0x00000000 ; program pointer is +5997, ACI version 2.72.920,

AGS cannot continue, this exception was fatal. Please note down
the numbers above, remember what you were doing at the time
and notify CJ on the Tech forum.

Most versions of Windows allow you to press Ctrl+C now to copy

Thanks for uploading the samples Agentbauer. I like the sound of the AL Narrator better so i am now downloading that version. I also will be curious to find out how much different this version is to that old 1.0 version.

Lovely game.  Very professional.  I love the voices and the music.  
I downloaded version with Al as narrator.  

But the game freezes in the screen with the timepods \ space pods.  Roger gets stuck at top of the screen, and won't move.  I can still look, touch etc.  I just can't move.  


EDIT
Also, when I installed the game, I got a popup message saying:
'This setup file was created using an unregistered demo version of Smart Install Maker. 
This message will not appear in setip files made with the registered version.'

Thats because od the smart install maker demo version I used to create the installer.
It doesn't affect the installation in any way, except the pop up which you can click away!

The Problem should be that you make Roger walk into the screen with a Non-Blocking walk command - if the player accidentally clicks while Rog is walking, he'll stop and get stuck outside the screen (as there is no walkable area).

Thanks for the tip, that was my first thought too, but that wasn't it....
I'll change the walkable areas in this room and try it again, there must be something wrong.

It's a strange thing...

If Roger enters from the top (so you can only see his legs), then he gets stuck every time. 
But if you go down one screen, and enter from the side, then it is fine.
