How about this?

It'll be easy if you've seen the film any time recently.

I have seen the movie recently, but have no idea what it is.

Also, what do people mean when you say "Googling it"? I mean, would
"giant ball" pool airbag cocaine "red car" blonde movie

Really yield results? Because it doesn't seem to. Or is it just a case of recognising an actor and then googling some of those things?

I typed "airbag cocaine face movie" and it was the 4th hit.  Too many search terms narrows the chances of success.

It totally is.
And it's a scene way more disturbing than Stephen Mangan's rubber penis. But I'll bet everybody's jobs are safe. Pfaaah

Doh! I check this thread too late! I would have totally gotten that one if I had, as In Bruges is one of my favorite movies of all time.

I forgot to comment on this earlier...
Damn it! I knew that was too much of a hint! Curse you, iconic American cars of film land!
I of course knew it was a Muppets movie, I even remember seeing it, just wasn't 100% which one it was until you said the year. But looking through imdb, and seeing that they're in a car, I would've more than likely guessed the correct movie even without the year hint. It definitely wasn't the car hint. ;)

...a scene from Monkeybone which inexplicably doesn't contain any wacky creature costumes or stop motion and is focused instead on a girl watching herself dance in a mirror?

I was going to say monkeybone, based on the same premise.

If this game were a democracy, Eggie's guess would have my vote.

If this game were socio-economy, Dualnames will be Greece.
