For years now I have been practicing improving the looks of characters, objects and backgrounds.
I have collected great programs for doing this.
Contact me if you need work done.
It helps if you give me as much detail of what is wanted ahead of time. Especially the style, and sending me base images to improve, if you can.

Hey dbuske how about you post some examples of your work, so people can get an idea of your capabilities!

So do you just want to improve other people's artwork for fun? To be helpful? To improve yourself?
I'd like to know your motivations. :-D

Hey folks, I'm open to doing some voiceover work.

I was employed as a radio station DJ for a number of years, so if you are looking for an "Announcer" or an "Over the top" type voice, I might be what you are looking for.

I'd be recording with my home setup, to hear what that sounds like you can check out one of my Let's Play videos

CatPunter

Hey all, my schedule is finally clearing up and I can take on some more AGS and indie stuff!

I'm primarily a digital artist who can do illustrations and pixel art. I'm also a pretty proficient animator! You might remember some of my work from the game in development on these very forums, "Kate and Shelly Stick Together!"

You can see some of my work on my wip portfolio site here: http://www.nikolausbbaer.com and my game jam stuff over here: https://gamejolt.com/@Gurok_and_CatPunter

My rates might be a little higher than some, but I know the tricks and tips that can keep the costs down while still delivering great art. Just message me and we can work something out. Thanks!

Hi!

My name is Alexandre Scire and I'm a music composer based in France. It's for proposing you my services of music composer in case you're looking for an original music for your project!

I've already composed several soundtracks (many for AGSers!), which certain are available on Steam, and my best experience is an OST for a WARHAMMER 40,000's game entitled "Sanctus Reach", licensed by Games Workshop.

I invite you to listen to my works on Bandcamp or Youtube, with musics for videogames, short-films, electro-acoustic and concert stage.

Enjoy listening! ;-D

Trumgottist

Hi!

I'm a musician, and I'd like to make music for narrative games. (I was at AdventureX this year, and that got me thinking about my game making.)

Besides wanting to make the soundtrack for a game, I am also interested in playing on someone else's soundtrack. So if you're making music, and think that your music could use some wind instruments, let me know. (I can play several instruments decently. I teach the following instruments professionally: bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, clarinet and saxophones in different sizes.)

Samples can be found on SoundCloud, or you can take a look at the game I made a few years back. You'll notice that I'm not a skilled sound engineer (meaning that my recordings are not as good as I'd like them to be), but I am slowly improving.

Finally, here are a few additional tracks, that I haven't uploaded to SoundCloud, because none of these are original music. Most of them are a couple of years old, and none of them are really polished, but listening to this should help give you an idea of who I am:

Ok, I've probably shared too much unpolished stuff now, but if you've listened to this and are interested, then I can almost guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

You can preferably contact me by e-mail. My GMail account has the same username as the one I'm using here.

Edit: I should add, in case that isn't clear, that I'm not looking for a paid gig.

SPANISH TRANSLATION

Hi! I'm an Argentinian freelance translator and writer currently living in Spain. I have nine years of experience working in translation, mainly in the subtitling and closed captioning industry. I have also translated articles, fiction, comic books, and academic papers, and I want to branch out into videogames, especially adventure games, since they are a passion of mine.

I also have some experience with AGS, because I'm co-designing and writing a game called Personal Rocket, which is still in production.

I can translate into Latin American Spanish and/or European Spanish. I could work for a flat fee or a mixture of flat fee and royalties of the translated versions.

PM me or contact me at marianofalzone@gmail.com for any queries or further information.

Cheers!

The Great Underground Empire

Hi everybody!  I'm looking to help other people's projects that need a deep, male bass voice actor.

I'm 39, old school theater and adventure game geek, soothing/serious voice but also silly as hell.  I made Chicken VS. Road and Damsel a decade ago.

I want to volunteer on some small projects just to relax and have fun, stuff where I'm not the sole writer/animator/artist/etc.  I can't not do something creative with my free time, but life is busier these days.  It's time to help other game creators from a minor role, and not try to do everything myself.

I made this whole cartoon below, and voice acted Brother Ormeros in it.  His lines were recorded on a cell phone while traveling overseas, these days I've got a quiet home studio, Blue Yeti mic, pop filter, foam shield, all that jazz.  Just want to give a sample of voice/acting, and show that I know how to work in these kinds of projects.

E-mail me at ghawthorne@live.com if you're interested.  Thanks!

CometMorehouse

Hello everyone,

I am a musician looking for some games to compose for. I've done a little bit of game music in the past, notably Starship Quasar for Crystal Shard. I've been preoccupied with playing with bands the past few years, but I would really like to get back into composing for media. Not looking for paid gigs (though I'm not opposed) and no project is too small. I just want to build my portfolio and get back into the swing of things.

Here are links to a few soundcloud playlists with some of my work.

And though it isn't soundtrack stuff, I made this solo EP more recently. https://cometmorehouse.bandcamp.com/album/deadbeat-boy

You can contact me at vpolmsted@gmail.com. Thanks.

Bookman

Hi.
Well I would lie if I said that I was a professional writer, although I have hade som novells published and hopefully I'm debuting with a book later this year.
I'm sort of in between amateur and professional writing. I really think that my strong side is in characters and dialogue and weird story's. I been writing (and beeing published) in the horror genre but I'm more of a fantasy/scifi writer.

I've always dreamed of making a classic point and click game. Huge fan of old school Lucas Art games. Would be glad to work with somebody on a smaller project.

What "novells" have you had published?

Cassiebsg

Hey Bookman :)

Since the writer is normally the one that defines the story and game... Just do a plot/pitch for a game idea and try and find a programmer and artist to join in. :)
Or look for the MAGS thread, and offer there. Some people like me, can do art and/or program... and enjoy participating on MAGS...  :-D

And welcome to AGS  (nod)
There are those who believe that life here began out there...

Kitty Trouble

I would love to work with an artist and maybe a writer on a AGS or non-AGS game. I just took part in the global game jam and I know I can do stuff, I just need help with art. There's a few genres I'm interested in, adventure, zelda-like, maybe RPG (much more involved though), platformers for a simple thing, or something that's unique. I'm a very busy person so this would be in my spare time. Let me know if interested or want to discuss more.
