Do you know an AGS-Hero/Heroine?

Of course you do!
There are a lot of them right here in our forum!
Yes, I am talking about the members of this big family
Some of them are responsible for the smell of tasty baked, that is still floating around ;)

So what I want you to do is draw a hero/heroine of your choice, based on or similar to an existing avatar from a forum member and add a special equipment to make him/her veeery fast because nearly all heroes are running, flying or driving like hell  ;D

There are no restictions in color-palette, style or size but to be usable in an AGS-game.
Sprites have to be posted until the end of the 20.03.2012 (forum-time).

AND:
This is just an option without influence to the competition itself!
I if you like we can make this comp to be a little quiz, too:
You are allowed to post the members name your sprite represents directly, but to give the thread a bit more life, you are recommended not to do so!  ;)  Feel free to explain the situation the sprite is about or tell a little story about your hero ...

because

... as soon as we have a (nameless) sprite, all members are allowed to guess who the sprite might represent and the creator is allowed to confirm or deny (+ give little hints if necessary).

As soon as the members name has been guessed correct, the creator can edit the original entry and declare it as solved (at least on the 20.03.2012).

Maybe with a sentence like:
Code: ags

Edit:
this sprite is meant to represent:  xxx
adresseand has been solved by:   xxx

Just for the fun of it ...
... aaand ...
... go!

A quick guess at Eric's

The results:

Spoiler
Indeed! Khris has been incredibly helpful to me in my few weeks here, but he doesn't have a real avatar. I tried to take the monochromatic palette of his default avatar and the letters of his name to make a tiny hero -- note the Superman-style s-curl!

Hey â€"  the first hero arrived and is already solved â€" wow!

... and he has cool hair indeed  ;D

Hope to see some more ...

straydogstrut

Silly me, I had plans for lots of lovely sprites but alas my weary hands could only craft one of them. I should point out that I don't who the character in the avatar is so I made this up ;D

Tabata

... for a little reminder:

... still some heroes missing that I'd love to see ...

It's Darth Mandarb then?
Vader + Black horse (Mandarb is the black stallion from the wheel of time) ?

Edit:- This wouldn't make a bad forum game. - You could do crosswords but with sprites instead of clues.

Ponch

Damn! My brilliant puzzle has been solved by a man possessed of such cunning and insight that I simply did not think it possible! Drat and curses!  :=

Ghost

...come and bring me info, come and bring me modules...   ;)

This Big Daddy is, of course, SSH.
Unriddled by Dualnames!

Something hockey related, no doubt. (Shakes tiny fist at Canada's hockey superiority)

Baron

I was googling "Hockey Superiority" for an unrelated reason and stumbled onto this thread.  Here's a toughy......

Edit:
this sprite is meant to represent:  Ponch
and has been solved by:   Sane Co.

What makes it extra amazing is that Baron went to the trouble of drawing the gun from Barn Runner on model!!! (Something I can only be bothered to do only some of the time)  :D

Tabata

...  wonderful glöckchen, hot kilt and sharp laser ... WOW!

Hey!
