Sheep Quest got a short review in Adventure Gamers' "Following Freeware":
http://www.adventuregamers.com/articles/view/23370

@Anian: This is supposed to be the sound that other people make in the distance, probably this didn't work well.

I assume it was deliberate that the "red herring" was a reference to the moped puzzle

It was not intended, but now that you mention it, I think it really fits (laugh)

Did play it for about 15 minutes and actually I like it. It's pretty good for children. If there was a german version, I would let my 10 years old niece try. There are not so many adventure games around for that age.

Hi neon, I'm glad you like it! If you can wait for a few more days: Tabata and I are currently working on a German translation that will be available by the end of this year.

Lovely game. Enjoyed playing it, even though I hate mini-games :)

Really liked the on subject responses when using objects for unintended purposes rather than the "I can't do that"

Spoiler: ShowHide
Like trying to give the pint to a child/Mitch/Balloon guy

Did notice some minor flaws, but they do not spoil the gameplay at all.
Spoiler: ShowHide
It is possible to give flowers to Patricia before being told of her birthday, but then maybe Angus got a crush?

Also, after the tin can alley is closed, the sign in the front is gone, but at the back of the trailer it is still visible

Hope your next game will not take you many years!

Tabata and I finished the German translation of Sheep Quest. I also made some minor bugfixes and corrected some typos.

Get the new version here: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/1613

Please consider to nominate this game for the AGS Awards!

Hi Lynn,

a few hints
Spoiler: ShowHide
Do you know what you are going to need the fruit for?

Spoiler: ShowHide
Take a look at stuff and persons at the fair (using right click), you might get a hint there

Spoiler: ShowHide
Maybe this fruit can cause some confusion and distract people?

Solution
Spoiler: ShowHide
Take the tomato.

There is also a special thread where you can ask for more help with the game:
