A riddle?

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Q: What am I?
A: Are you a riddle?

I was pretty happy with this one. Wonder if it's been done before. It's like the purest form of the riddle.

Could be '(a) small matzo flour dumpling(s)'. These are usually served with soup. (Shkedei marak, aka 'mandlach' in Yiddish)
Otherwise it could also mean 'Tonsil'...  ;)

Q: What am I?
A: Are you a riddle?

I thought the previous sentence was a hint in disguise:

Q: a new one to hopefully rebirth this thread. What am I?
A: A riddle

My sister-in-law said me a riddle some time ago:

A woman goes on a beach with a portable stove and a riffle. She shoots a seagull and cooks it. Then she tries to eat it, spits it out and bursts into floods of tears. Why?

You may ask questions and I'll give you a Yes or No response.

This one ought to be in the Black Stories thread. I know it from before, so I won't participate in guessing.

I never read this thread, sorry.
After doing it, I agree that it's definitely more suited to its tone and format.

Let's give it up then.

I meant no critique, only suggest posting it there for more replies. The riddle is a good one.

I’m not familiar with that other thread either. This sounds like a cool riddle, so why not keep it going?

Did the woman have some sort of relationship with the seagull?

Was the seagull actually an albatross?
Was the woman an ancient mariner?
