Yep, kind of a pun that one was.

This is still open...

QuoteThe one, which travels to the air... Is not a plane, but moves with machinery help.
The one, which travels to the earth... Is not a spider, but moves with eight legs.

Hints:
machinery = conveyor
eight legs could be twelve legs as well

(Sorry, I didn't realize that there was an answer attempt from Renodox: precipitation. That was incorrect.)

Renodox

Can't solve the riddle but here's one from me:

Gee, I should go on a quest to change it to this:

janleht

Is it: Guest???

Final hint for my riddle:
Remember the opening scene of the Blackwell-series?

Renodox

Yes, you got it.

Okay to help rekindle interest here's one just for fun.  There's no actual answer to the riddle but I'd like to see what people say about it.  Bill Watterson's popular character was the first to ask this riddle and it was this:

"What's the difference between a garden slug and a two-inch long living booger?"

I came up with one! I hope it's logical enough:)

The one, which travels to the air... Is not a plane, but moves with machinery help.
The one, which travels to the earth... Is not a spider, but moves with eight legs.

Spoiler
A dead person.
They can be cremated (using a conveyor) and then scattered into the air (as per Blackwell Legacy).
They can be buried, and the eight or twelve legs are the legs of the men carrying the coffin.
Boom! Take that, riddle :)

A: I would never eat a slug.

Here's a somewhat original one by me.

How do you make anti matter?

How do you make anti matter?
Get her in the kitchen to make Uncle's dinner.

Yes, That's a correct answer! It's a pun based on the riddle, "How do you make anti freeze? (Take away her blanket)"

Haha, and there I was thinking I was being original.  What's the actual answer you had in mind?

Originally my answer was just "Give her something important to do". Next time I tell that one though I'll have to remove the space between 'anti' and 'matter' to make it more difficult.

These three letters represent the one you never want to meet.

My immediate thought was R.I.P. but not sure if that's too obvious?

You can't really meet an abbreviation, though?
Not that I have a suggestion myself

Well it did say they represent the one you never want to meet, and as it was not specified that it was a person, I thought maybe RIP represented Death which is "the one" you never wanted to meet.  But I'm probably woefully off the mark!  :-\
