All right, here's another hidden word riddle:

"How old is this mess?"
According to wikipedia, Harold park is on an isthmus (Howold isthismess -> Harold Isthmus). So that's sort of interesting.

Also, "This Mess" is a song that was released in 2007.

Renodox

The hidden message isn't that complicated.  Good try though.

Atelier

I think the question has been clipped short, how old is this message?

So... 'age old'?

Renodox

The word is:

"Message"

"How old is this" = age
"mess" = mess.

So it is mess age.

Here's one from an online game I'm playing that I haven't cracked yet:

"I watched an army gathering supplies over miles of country side. No homestead did they pillage, no blade of grass was broken. What am I?"

If you think you know then post your answer and I'll see if it works

Spoiler
I'd guess the army is an army of ants, but that's not the question, so... um... a human? The sun?

I gotta say, I'm going with Andail on this one.

Oh, hehe, I kind of see Adam's point here.

Spoiler

"What am I" - the observer isn't necessarily a part of the army. So it could basically be anything, or more precisely, the one asking the riddle in the game. So yeah, human (if it's indeed a human).

I guess I had it coming with the "easy" remark :/

Tried ants, but that wasn't it. Also had the same thought as you about the it being the observer rather than the actual army and also tried the sun and eyes

2 guesses which could be right, but neither of them seem to fit the entire riddle.
A shoe has a tongue. But it can't walk or run so that doesn't seem to fit.
A river runs but doesn't walk, but I can't see how 'tongue' fits into that.

Renodox

Wrong on both.  The answer to the riddle will only make sense if you know a bit of something about what a part of a certain machine is called.

Renodox

The answer to the riddle is:

Wagon
