Wrong,  and I realize now how hard this one would be without a real hint.  Cat.

So... a cat chasing a mouse, with the caught mouse providing the extra 4 legs?

Renodox

Technically it was "Mouser" granted, that was a tough one.

1. You must keep this thing,
Its loss will affect your brothers,
For once yours is lost,
It will soon be lost by others.

2. Though a tasty treat,
Made in spiral towers,
Rarely will it be eaten alone.

3. This great thing can be swallowed
But can also swallow us.

#3 was correct, #1 was not.

1- Calm? Temper?

I have no idea about #2 but let's try: Liquorice?

Adeel

Hmmm Sephiroth, I believe (your guess) Temper is the right answer. :)

As for 2:
Spoiler
Pizza?

Renodox

"Temper" is correct.  #2 is not correct.  But I do wonder, how are licorice and pizza made in spiral towers?  And they are USUALLY eaten alone.

Sephiroth

#672
I mentioned I had no idea, just a wild guess, liquorice often comes with some rose/yellow/white things stuck to it in candies, and also take the form of a spiral sometimes. Stupid right.... ;) Could it be pastas?

*I like to think #1 could have been weed...

Adeel

And I guessed pizza because they are round (laugh)! Circle is related to spiral. Deep down I know somehow! :P

Renodox

This is sweet.  But no it's not pasta.

"Temper" is correct.

"Your cool" could also work, perhaps.

Renodox

Oh Pooh Pooh, don't get to Whinny about not getting the second one quickly.

Renodox

Correct.

1. Inside a burning house,
This thing is best to make.
And best to make it quickly before,
The fire's too much to take.

2. Plow and hoe, reap and sow,
What soon does every farmer grow?

3. Everyone offers his thing,
But few will take it when it
Is offered by someone else.
