Story

Somewhere along the east coast of Africa, pirates have attacked a luxury yacht!
They have taken a few seemingly wealthy passengers as their hostages, a family and an old man,
hoping to collect a hefty ransom for each of them. When the hostage negotiations go awry,
the rescue duties land on the weak shoulders of an unlikely hero.
Little does he know that the ship's crew, that stands in his way,
is composed of some very weird and silly individuals.

Nice of you to put this up for free AJA! I'll spread some word about it :)

I haven't finished the game yet, but I can say it's a clever and polished game so far.
Great work, and thanks for sharing the 'making of' videos to the community, it was an interesting watch!

Looking forward to playing this and watching the podcasts :)

It won't run on my computer  :(

oh well...

AJA

Does it give some other error message than that the resolution is not supported?

Cogliostro

I had the same problem with resolution not supported.  Manually edited the acsetup.cfg to this:

Code: AGS

[sound]
digiid=-1
midiid=-1
digiwin=-1
midiwin=-1
digiindx=0
midiindx=0
digiwinindx=0
midiwinindx=0
[misc]
gamecolordepth=32
defaultres=3
screenres=1
letterbox=0
defaultgfxdriver=DX5
gfxdriver=DX5

Now it starts... sort of.  The game screen runs off the edge of my monitor and I can't get it to start.  [Had the same problem when I bought it with the Summerbatch.]

Any suggestions?

I think my computer's too low tech  :(

Win XP with service pack 2

Res does go up to 1280 x 1024.

It must be the graphics adapter not being good enough.

Sorry to hear that. :(

Cogliostro, unfortunately the custom resolution mod the game requires using the D3D9 graphics driver. That's why it won't run.

No idea if there's a way to get round the fact that your graphics cards don't support 1280x720. Probably not. :undecided:

Cold comfort but someone's making a let's play of BF (not finished yet): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4P-vHg1zCl0

AJA -

Don't worry about it.  If I was going to let it bother me, I would have said something months ago.
