Yep you got it!

[hide]Rodgers (pl) to Roger (singular) without a clue to eradicate the D was perhaps a bit of a reach.  But you got it anyway so it can't have been too obscure! :cheesy:  For any (proper) football fan, YNWA is instantly recognisable as related to Liverpool FC, so I figured it would be pretty easy from that point of view.)

Oh man.  I just spent twenty minutes frantically trying to solve my own puzzle -got it though. :)  Don't let me forget about this for a week again, or we might permanently kill the thread with an unsolvable clue!
