I've got one, if no one minds me jumping the gun a bit :-)

The English Capital's visitor had a day in France with a joint. (3, 7, 7)

The Longest Journey (LON for english capital GUEST (for visitor) JOUR is the french word for day and KNEE is a joint)

And Stupot+ shouldn't you have waited until faerieevenstar confirmed the answer to the last one :)

EDIT: I have a tricky one waiting in the wings if my answer is right.

Hehe yes, well done Dadalus.
Yeah, I jumped the gun but I just thought of it and didn't have a pen handy so thought the best way to not forget it would be to just post it. Seems like an informal thread, so I guessed no one would mind if I was nice about it :-)

Also, your first clues said "Games in promotion" which might have added to the confusion.

Well done, correct.

Sorry for the 'games in promotion' snafu, I must have been tired, but I think people would have known what I meant (even if I didn't :)).

Explanation:

Spoiler: ShowHide
NOT THE FIRST SELF PROMOTER. The self promoter is me and the game I'm promoting/producing is 'Danger Mouse'. Its two words 'NOT THE FIRST' so its the second word which is 'Mouse'.

I must have watched too many episodes of 321 as a child, dusty bin for me :)

EDIT: for those not British and/or too young to remember 321 see here.
