True ;-D but that's not the correct answer :P

Spoiler
"void of sin" indicates to remove the letters s, i , and n from a word?

You really assume I'm nearly as smart as you are :P

Hint:
Spoiler

to become ethereal is enough for the answer, the rest is a hint...

CaptainD

Aw, I was assuming that "in the void" meant
Spoiler
void=empty=MT, meaning the word started with M and ended in T and the other letters were "in" those letters.

Ahhhh so the answer is simply:

Spoiler
Ghost

Losing one's physical form (i.e: dying), but trapped in limbo (void) due to sins done in life.

Ah, I think I didn't make it clear that I was attempting to answer the puzzle in there. That was me explaining my answer, not me asking for a hint, sorry.

My answer was: "Ghost"

I'm thinking "the void of sin" = the internet (for obvious reasons  :P), and that to become ethereal involves some sort of digitization/uploading/posting.  Except obviously it's none of those things since none of them have 5 letters.... (roll)

Story time.
I was young when some of my friends and their slightly older brothers invited me to a game of pool. I have never played pool before in my life. They even laughed at the way I held the stick. But they weren't laughing when they lost game after game to me. Some of them tried holding the stick the way I did so they might win. But no, they were too professional to beat a beginner with so much luck :P

Moral of the story? I'm a beginner guys! Your explanations are amazingly complicated 8-0

void of sin: somewhere dark, dark... and scary.

to become ethereal: losing a physical attribute of someone's self due to a new condition.

While googling if any words such as "Limbo" or "Faded" were in any way AGS related (there was a game in production in 2007 called "Limbo" but I doubt that's it), I discovered that AGS also stands for "American Gerbil Society". I was too scared to click the link though for fear of what I might find there...
