Hmm
Spoiler
'app portraits' is 'icons' (seems to fit the two hints above).
'Diminished and confused' means get rid of the 's' and change it around a bit, perhaps swapping a 'c' for an 'r' which gives 'noir'.

'Follow #1' means 'noir' comes second.

I'm not sure how the first word fits in to 'follow #2'but my guess is 'face'.

Face Noir

Warm! Icons is indeed correct and you're on the right tracks with most of the rest. Once you get the first part the penny will drop.

Kudos to Stu for stirring things up 8-)

Sensual seemingly is consumed by endless cream (13)

AGS related.

Baron

Spoiler

Well....  I think "sensual seemingly" must = "sexmingly", and "endless cream" must = "crea".  The consumption bit implies that "crea" swallows "sexmingly", thus "cresexminglya" which very conveniently equals 13 letters, but most inconveniently makes no sense whatsoever.  :-\  I guess I'm missing something....

Spoiler
You're correct about the endless cream part

however...

Spoiler
'seemingly' needs a little work..

Hint:
Spoiler
seemingly in my universe could also mean sounds like :P

Haggis

Spoiler
Ah, so my simple thinking that 'endless cream' meant UHT is erroneous! Must try harder.

Mandle

Is the word that sounds like "sensual":

Haggis

Maybe...
