* Mandle staggers onto stage embarrassingly still dressed in his tutu...

"I would just like to thank all the...uuurgh..."

* Mandle embarrassingly vomits pints of vodka and other stomach contents over the first few rows of the audience in an awe-inspiring spray...

"Well (wiping lips and chin with handkerchief)...That's the real thing that came from the depths of Mandle I guess..."

* Mandle giggles, burps several times, falls bonelessly backwards, and the curtains close on his feet...

* We see Mandle's feet dragged out of view a few moments later...

I must second all of this!

Damn Pindo, if your games turn out half as entertaining as this contest then you'll have hits on your hands for sure!

(I personally would love to play a game where you suddenly get a Chuck Norris punch to the face in first-person view right out of nowhere, and then get to see Tim Robbins covered in Mandle-puke. And I'm not kidding! A game with your style of frenetic gifs popping up to show the characters' feelings would be hideously entertaining. Something like Ally McBeal's weird psychotic imaginings in the TV show of the same name...)

@Cassiebsg: I'm in the same boat now as I'm exactly out of space to host trophy links: I'm going to put them all in the same image, host that image myself, and use it as a single URL link...

Thanks again Pindo. Now I'm terrified to host the next one (laugh)

Congratz Mandle and all the fellows ^_^
This was really fun!

I've also had that idea, and put them in as one image, but the animated trophies, means it needs to be a gif and animated... kind of screws up the colors when I wanted to add a new picture to the collection...
And I love my little text quote... (no place, so I either need to add it to the picture or look at half cut pictures.) :(

Friends, as i promised the translation of the Castro Alves's poem
"Floating Foam" into the English language is already available in
the first post in this topic.

I tried to do my best!  :)

The inspiration for the theme of this contest comes when
i was reading this poem...

A BRIEF BIO

Castro Alves is one of the most important poets abolitionists in Brazil.
His work moves between romanticism and Parnassianism.
He died at age 24 (died of tuberculosis), a few months
after publishing a collection of 53 poems, including this one.

"Floating Foam" was written on a boat trip, as he departed
from Rio de Janeiro towards his homeland, Bahia.
In this poem, Castro Alves see the approach of death
and breathe all your sorrow and anguish in a ocean of words.

To illustrate his inspired lines i used some works of the sensible
british artist: LS Lowry. His "naïf" images evoke so well the dense
and lonely atmosphere of this Castro Alves's poem.

There is also a link to a classical music poem of a brazilian composer
called Alberto Nepomuceno, the melody and the poetry inside of it
resonate in communion with "Floating Foam".

April...
Spoiler
I had noticed "Gymnopédie No.1" in your
work, so i think you will love to hear it.

I hope it's the appreciation of all.

:-D

This tip is worth gold, man!

I never heard of this series... but i watch this collection of scenes
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCC_YwDz6Yk) and I was very curious.

Somehow reminded me of a movie I saw when i was a little Pindo
and I think that also makes use of fireworks although a more
naive way (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvMLfSQrHKE).

Mandle, this fear is already the mind at work ...
In my time I also felt it! This is great!!!!
Now I'm sure that the next contest will be
as creative, fun and challenging!   (nod)

Thanks Pindorama for hosting this!

I get the feeling of mission accomplished.
What made this contest in a special competition was precisely the participation of all!
Thank you very much!

Man, if I knew that you had so many brazilian's composers albums, especially those you mentioned,
I would have given to you 5 extra points for each of them! HAHAHAHAHAHA
