<<     Garage Sale     >>

I'm going to hold a garage sale (or yard sale if you prefer).
I've found a bunch of stuff in my garage, but I'm having trouble identifying it all!
I need your help! The unidentified items are all one of three shapes:

I need you to:
1. Colour one shape and present the item to me. It should be a bit faded or damaged, as most garage sale stock is
2. List a price for the item
3. Provide a little bit of info about the item's history, so I can remember why I'm selling it

At the end, I'll gather them all and we'll see which one sells the fastest (gets the most votes).

You can draw anything you might find in a garage (or yard) sale. Some suggestions:
Clothing, dolls, furniture, books, VHS tapes, CDs, as-seen-on-TV kitchen appliances, hi-fi systems, board games, car parts
Or anything else you might reasonably find at a garage sale.

Rules:

Fill at least one shape.
You may colour the outline.
You may rotate the shapes 90, 180, 270, 360 degrees only.
You may not flip any of the shapes horizontally or vertically.
You may use animation within the shape.

Submission deadline is the 30th of November.
Voting will begin on the 1st of December.
Voting is open until the 8th of December.

The competition is now over. Congratulations to Bavolis!

Trophies:

We have some lovely trestle table trophies to celebrate the convention of laying things out on trestle tables at garage sales.

Easter Island Cabinet Handle

$2.00

Our luxury hotel room on Easter Island had the most authentic deco and we wanted to bring a little piece of it back with us. How were we supposed to know it carried a curse? Don't worry, the giant stone men only assaulted us until we were safely off the island. I'm sure they can't swim.

Gurok

Ah yes! Our fabulous trip to Easter Island! Thinking about that trip still disrupts my sleep! I had to put it in the garage because house guests would speak gibberish if they made eye contact with it. That, and I could never get it to sit the right way.

The cabinet handle is perfect! Many interesting details. It's painted in that fascinating style that all souvenirs you swipe from hotel rooms seem to have (which I love, great style!). Surely $2.00 is too little! I'm certain we'll find a buyer. Great piece!

I jumped into that big pile of unknown stuff in the darkest corner to find something that is well worth to be wanted by others.
I was in luck and really able to dig up some very old things (original antiquities) that might be of big interest for fans of the earlier famous owners.

Now I have the honour to show you several rarities from the stone age, avaliable for the best offer that comes in

[imgzoom]http://fs5.directupload.net/images/user/151108/mbeiataq.png[/imgzoom]
There's the original dress of Wilma and the genuine clothing of Fred (both with some insignificant signs of wear).
Also we have a caddis with several articles of daily use included. You can find at least one used stone age haunch, a hair brooch of Pebbles and a golf club of Fred.

Greetings from Bedrock to the AGS'ers from all over the world!

Hopefully you have left some coins to be able for a generous offer

Amazing entry, Tabata! I can't believe I had such a unique piece of (cartoon) history sitting in my garage. Must have been under all that rubble. Ah, the things you find!

I am certain that this genuine Flintstone fashion and sportsgoods will sell. One eyebrow-raising smiley face is a very good price. I'd slate to see these go, but who in their pyrite mind could pass them up? Eh? Eh? :D

It was supposed to be only one shape, but this entry is so good, I think I'll remove that rule now. Colour as many shapes as you like. And Bavolis, if you want to go back and add more shapes, that's fine.

Wow dude! You really got an originally licenced replica of a Space Phaserâ,,¢, that gun the evil aliens used to dissolve the hero's red shirts in the popular 70's scifi-show Space Fleet Elite 2405 A.D.! The show was just a bad rip off of Star Trek, but it's far cooler merchandise really brought home the bacon for the TV Channel.
Surprisingly the batteries still work, but unfortunately that sweet light effect has some slack joint and several lamps are broken. I am sure really passionate collectors of that old jun... ehm antique toys could still pay a sweet amount. I'd suggest a 40$ price tag (batteries not included).

The Mrs said I should grow up and sell my old stuff.
I hid everything but she managed to get her hands on my favorites.
She allowed me to set the price after I promised her a fair and reasonable price for:

Spaceship 0.01$

and its stand 199.99$

You'll have to buy them together though:

Wow, great entries, both Kumpel and AnasAbdin!

Kumpel, you found my old Space Phaser! Unbelievable. Space Fleet Elite 2405 A.D. was THE show back in the day, and yes, I'm a big Fleetnik. Remember Commander Shirk? And the alien, Mister Clock? He would always complain about Shirk like, "that is not chronological, Commander". Who could forget the race for whom the colour red caused explosive indigestion? Or the entirely female race whose planet's atmosphere was a mild aphrodisiac? There was a lot of shirt phasing in both those episodes!

I'm also really impressed the batteries still work in that thing (nice job on the animation!). $40 is a fair price for such an important piece of pop culture history, I'd say. Great find!

Wow, AnasAbdin, that ship is a steal at that price. I think we'll go with the value proposition of ships per dollar. I mean, sure it's $200 for the lot, but it's a hundred ships per dollar.

I am also impressed with how smooth and sleek the ship looks. The stuff from your house is a bit nicer than mine. Anyway, I'm happy to help you out and toss it in with the other items. I'm sure other people have similarly shaped items from their garages too. I'm not discriminate. I'll try to sell anyone's junk!

I take good care of my old toys. Just make sure you don't display the other side though:

If someone caught you, try not to negotiate the price a lot, minimum around 0.000000001$ but no less.

The stand is good on both sides:

Price of the stand is non-negotiable (wrong)
