Warptile(formerly WARP)

Hello there fellow AGS ers
Happy Xmas to everyone!

And i just wanted to inform you, that Warp has been renamed Warptile and released on http://stromvin.itch.io/warptile. It is a Commercial game, BUT until next year, you can name the price yourself. This basically means you can have it for free once you created an itch.io account. I release it as early access which means its not complete, but it is perfectly playable. What i now need are a lot of test Players to get rid of bugs and to adjust the difficulty of the Levels. But lets just go to the Content.

- Warptile is a Puzzlegame, not an adventure
- It has a fitting retro sci fi style
- all graphics can be consideres Pixel art
- 3 different difficulties should make it playable for everyone
- interactive tutorial will teach you the very Basics
- new elements get introduced step by step to keep you entertained and challenged
- terrible music and sound effects i made by myself
- scifi Story presented as text (work in Progress)
- with the credits you earn you can upgrade your ship (very Basic)

Jus wanted to tell you im still here and still working on it
In case anyone reads...
And now to the Facts
Overviewmap by Marco Becker, auf FlickrThis is a screenshot of the new overview map. From here you will be able to navigate from sector to sector. While flying you will also use fuel, which you can recharge at stations across the map. Ist still underdevelopment, and i will make it optional and see if Players will like it or not. I think it certainly adds some additional depth an planning to the game. But ist more of a resource management than a puzzle, so it might not ber everyones Cup of tea.
Although im quite far with this, there is still one nasty Little bug that i just cant get out. So might tak another week or so till the final build. For the time being the game will stay pay what you want, until i think it offers enough value and polish.

As always i want feedback and then more feedback!!!

Wow... has it already been another month?
Just when i tried to fix this one bug... well i got an idea. And then another bug came around and another idea... lets just say last month had a lot of ups and downs both life and codewise
So bear with me, (if anyone is still reading this anyway ) the new update is close. And it really makes kind of a game change with a new game mode. Optional because im not sure if everyone will like this. So yeah, i will probably make this a new version, and give this for a small amount of cash, and leave the other one as basic game for free. And its close... relatively close some more days i guess, little more testing and so on.

Oh and btw. i also updated the AGS game page to the new version at itch.io, should be downloadable without account or anything.

OK... i finally did it! The new version is online. And its 2 Dollar now!
BUT i chose to keep the old version for free. And i will probably also update it somewhen, to complete it the way it was meant to be
See the new version as a kind of dlc/expansion pack. Its just a new "more free" mode of the game, with lots of extras planned, to give the game an adventure like feeling. For people who just want a puzzle game the original version is perfectly fine.
ALSO I used music from Eric Matyas for the new version, who kindly offers his songs for free on his website.
On a sidenote, the first five people who answer to this will get a free code. Once i find out how to do this
So, now excuse me, im kinda exhausted

So... its really been a while... im one lazy ass...
But im still happy to anounce a new upload.
WarpinPieces 0.12 is actually more of a graphical update than anything else, but i really like the new style.

And yes its still not complete and still has quite some issues...
