I hope everyone is safe and healthy. If you have kids (or know someone who does) here's a brand new free resource that I hope is helpful. It's a website for my video learning series, “Dune’s Island.” Within it you can freely access all the episodes, support documentaries and tie-in curriculum (like vocabulary, math problems, writing prompts and more.)

In the coming weeks I’ll be expanding the site with all kinds of cool activities and more documentaries so please be sure to bookmark it. In the meantime, any and all feedback is welcome and very much appreciated. Enjoy and stay safe.

https://www.dunesisland.org/

P.S. Please feel free to share it on social media. Thanks!

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy…(and not going too crazy from being stuck inside.)

Anyhow, brand new free texture images ready on these pages:

TXR – Abstract
https://soundimage.org/txr-abstract/

TXR – Rock/Stone – Seamless
https://soundimage.org/txr-rockstone-seamless/

More media creators have been asking about my higher quality Ogg music tracks. Please know that I’m in the process of creating them and uploading them to Gumroad, but it’s taking time since there are over 2000 tracks on my site. If you want an Ogg version of a track that isn’t available yet, just email me and I’ll be happy to create it for you and put it on Gumroad.

Be well.

Hi Folks,

If you can, please consider making a small donation on my site to support my work. The camera I use to create free images for everyone is very expensive...I've been paying it off for some time...and donations from the creative community really help me a lot.

That said, brand new free texture images are available on these pages:

TXR - FABRIC
https://soundimage.org/txr-fabric/

TXR - FUR

Here’s some cool news:

Free looping video clips are on the way that you’ll be able to use in games, for website backgrounds, Zoom backgrounds and all kinds of other things.

Here’s an example of how I used one as a background for my other website:

https://www.dunesisland.org/episodes

I think it really brings the page to life in a way that static images just can’t.

Anyhow, I’ll be opening those pages soon. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, I have some cool new sci-fi textures for everyone. You’ll find them here:

https://soundimage.org/txr-sci-fi/

If you find my work helpful, please consider making a small donation on my website to help support my efforts.

Stay safe and keep being creative!

NEWS

Ogg Music Packs

A good number of game developers have asked me if they can download multiple music tracks all at once instead of one at a time, so I’m making Ogg music packs available that include all of the tracks for any given page once that page is full and I’m no longer adding any more tracks to it.

You’ll see a button near the top of any given page if a music pack is available.

Presently, music packs are available for the following pages:

Action 1
Chiptunes 1-3
Fantasy 1-10
Dark/Ominous
Horror / Surreal
Looping Music
Puzzle Music 1-5
Sci-Fi / Space

If you can, please consider making a small donation on my website to help support my efforts.

Have a good week and a safe holiday!

I can’t believe 2020 is almost over…talk about a rough year. I hope your projects have been keeping you busy (and helping to keep you sane) during all the chaos and mayhem. Hopefully 2021 will be better.

Anyhow, new seamless sci-fi images are ready. You’ll find them here:
https://soundimage.org/txr-sci-fi/

CUSTOM MUSIC

If anyone happens to need some custom music, I do that as well. Info is here:

Providing music that helps creative people complete their projects is so rewarding…please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need some help.

In the meantime, if you find my free assets helpful, please consider making a small donation on my website to help support my efforts.

See you in 2021!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone didn’t drink too much…ha ha. ;-)

To kick off 2021, brand new seamless texture images are waiting for you on these pages:

TXR – Ground – Cartoon

https://soundimage.org/txr-ground-cartoon/

TXR – Metal – Cartoon

https://soundimage.org/txr-metal-cartoon/

TXR – Rock/Stone – Cartoon

https://soundimage.org/txr-rockstone-cartoon/

The images aren’t necessarily “cartoony” but are more graphical and less realistic than my other images.

NEWS

For those of you using my music tracks, my History page now has Ogg versions of my tracks on it. Ogg tracks have several advantages over MP3 tracks:

-They loop better in game engines (MP3 tracks sometimes need to be edited.)

-They sound amazing…almost as good as the original WAV tracks while being much smaller in size.

-They are a cool way to support my efforts. Give them a try!

In the meantime, if you find my free assets helpful, please consider making a small donation on my website to help support my efforts.

Have a good week!
