I wanted to try and come up with an original idea for this sprite jam, as well as challenge people, so I hope anyone is willing to try this.

This time, you can draw anything you want for a sprite, any character, item or motive you want to draw.

Deadline is February 27th, which I hope is plenty of time, no rush.

There is only one catch.

The sprite has to be done in MS Paint, and according to the following guidelines;

It has to be drawn with your mouse and keyboard, no tablet, pen, pad or stylus used.

You can only use the default colors in the palette that show up when you start paint.

And no pixel-art.

This is going to be hard, since the default colours in the palette for MSPaint, depends on the version you use.
The older versions used to use something similar to an expanded EGA palette, while the newer versions have the most generic and well-rounded palette possible (I remember someone accidentally recreating it when trying to create a generic palette for games).

Still, I'm going to enter this.
Let's see if I can make something worthwhile. :-D

I took the theme literally:

Too bad there is no transparency :~(

DBoyWheeler

I'm out.  No way I could use MS Paint without it getting all effed up!

Danvzare

Not knowing what to draw, I decided to redraw a previous entry I drew in a Sprite Jam once.

Made entirely in MSPaint, using nothing but the pencil and paint bucket tools, and the default MSPaint palette. No magnifying glass, no paint brush, no stretching or shrinking of the canvas, none of that stuff.

Just pencil, paint bucket, default palette, and ctrl+z.

CaptainD

A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, an evil scientist experimented with the genetic code of an alien, a top hat, an Aussie and an Egg.  Something went wrong halfway through the experiment and the result was not quite what the scientist expected.

Tournk

Can I at least use all the brush tools? Or is the pen tool the only option?
Reaction is always funny.

For the adventurer with a refined taste. For the adventurer who prefers traveling between locations in style, luxury and comfort. For the adventurer who needs luggage space for those valuable inventory items. May I present...

... this stunning automobile!

Well, I thought I wanted to encourage more experienced artists to leave their comfort-zone and try something new, as well as encourage beginners with no previous experience with more advanced advanced programs to give it a shot. There has been some questions regarding the palette and brush tools, and yes, brush tools are allowed. As for different palettes in different versions, there is no problem as long as you stick with the default palette in the version you are using.

I'm happy to see so many entries, keep up the good work! ;-D

Danvzare

I'm really surprised at how good some of these entries are. They're amazing! 8-0

Scavenger

Default MSPaint palette, eh? Alright. For added difficulty, it's the paintxp palette. Ugly!

I don't think this counts as pixel art, I just painted it like I would normally but in MSPaint.

AWESOME Scavenger...REALLY!!!! :)

Here's my super amazing entry!!! :D

mass genocide is the most exhausting activity one can engage in, next to soccer

Tournk

Now here's a very colourful space vehicle. I call it, The Lod.

Note that the background color isn't from the default palette. (But I think thats okay, right?)

I guess since the background technically isn't part of the sprite, I'll give it a pass this time.

Scavenger

So, when does the judging/voting start?
