I believe I can declare Cassie the winner. The only piece missing that I had in mind was when the coworkers went into the office they heard Bob committing the murder.

case 14
Bob came out of his office and leaves the building. A few minutes later screams are heard from his office. Coworkers go inside to find no one there. Later Bob is arrested for murder. Why?

Yes
Has Bob left on some kind of commication device - phone, walkie-talkie, etc - that projects the noise of him murdering something into his office? (kind of)
Is Bob guilty of murder?
Did the screams come from someone being murdered?
Was the communication device a phone?
Was it off the hook/connected to where the murder happened?
Did the screams come from the person Bob murdered?
Was Bob talking to the victim on the phone prior to him leaving the office?
Was Bob so "mad" that he left in a hurry leaving the Phone of the hook?
Did he reached the victim and murder him/her before the victim disconnect his/her phone?

No
Did Bob leave something dangerous in his office that consumed someone else (an animal, an open vat of acid...)?
Was there a window in the office? Was it opened? (Might fall more into irrelevant but no one came in or out a window.)
Did he left the TV/Radio on?
Was it a recording device rather than communication device?
Did the victim phone his office number prior to being murdered so that the events would be recorded?
Did Bob deliberately incriminate himself?
Was someone else in Bob's office at any time between him leaving and coworkers entering it?

Pro is the opposite of Con                       Kids of today are so much different
This fact can clearly be seen,                  Don't you know?
If progress means to move forward         Just ask them where they are from
Then what does congress mean?             And they tell you where you can go.  --Nipsey Russell

Cool!  :-D

Yeah, but Snarky had already asked that, so we already knew that.  ;)

Someone take the next case, please. I've got nothing.

The case was made up but I did not have them murdered.
Anyone have a new case yet?

Tabata

Sorry, but 'my case' will have to wait until I get a stable connection back. :~(
Spoiler
Instead of becoming better it's worse
and even my smart phone is acting strange
(this morning I got 32 notifications at once from here  )
and at home I just had about 3 hours of connection to be possible during the last week (wtf)

So... if no one else wants this round, I have one for you:

Case 15
A criminal is arrested, but vanishes from a sealed room.

What's going on there, eh?

Case 15
A criminal is arrested, but vanishes from a sealed room.

Yes
Was the criminal a human? [with an asterisk...]

No
...

Mandle

Was the criminal an X-men kind of mutant?

Cassiebsg

Was the room a prison cell?
Was there a window in the room?

selmiak

does sealed in this case mean airtight?
Did he just open the door?
Is the criminal put into the sealed room?
Does he go into the sealed room voluntarily?
Is the criminal arrested by police?
Is the sealed room a police room?

Snarky

I'm not inclined to enforce Mandle's "only three guesses per round" rule, but maybe not quite so many at a time, hmm?

Mandle

Was the room an execution chamber?
Was the room a teleporter?

Tabata

Is it a sci fi story?
Was he teleported out of the room?
Was the sealed room also locked?

dayowlron

By sealed room do you mean there was not a trap door or vent he could crawl out?

Was he put in a coffin?
Was the coffin burned?

was the criminal put in the room actually a hologram?

Well this is embarrassing... I got a pretty key detail wrong. Not even sure it's worth doing it now... but I suspect you'll get it at this point anyway:

Spoiler
Case 15

Yes
Was the criminal a human? [with an asterisk...]
Is the criminal put into the sealed room?
Is the criminal arrested by police? [law enforcement, anyway]
By sealed room do you mean there was not a trap door or vent he could crawl out? [there was not]
Corrected: Did he just open the door? [not "just", but it turns out that getting the door open was part of it]
Was the criminal already dead?

No
Was the criminal an X-men kind of mutant?
Was the room a prison cell?
Was there a window in the room?
Does "sealed" in this case mean airtight?

Was the room an execution chamber?
Was the room a teleporter?
Is it a sci fi story?
Was the sealed room also locked? [barred, but not locked]
Corrected: Was he teleported out of the room? [I thought so, but apparently that happened after disappearing from the room]
Was he put in a coffin?
Was the coffin burned?
Was the criminal put in the room actually a hologram?
