Pro is the opposite of Con                       Kids of today are so much different
This fact can clearly be seen,                  Don't you know?
If progress means to move forward         Just ask them where they are from
Then what does congress mean?             And they tell you where you can go.  --Nipsey Russell

Case #30

An army marched from the front and the rear, killing all in its path. What's really going on here?

Yes
Is the case possible to (or did) happen in real life nowadays?
Was the case possible to (or did) happen in real life in the past?
Is there some sort of civil war going on? (Some sort of civil war? I must say YES! (laugh) )
Is this a natural phenomenon?
Does the army include cells, microbes, viruses, spores, or some other kind of micro-organism? ("consist of" changed to "include" to hopefully fix a potential mislead)
Does this take place inside a human body? (Yes...The riddle concerns something about the human body)
Does "marching from the front and rear" imply that the "army" is coming from two different directions?
Is this a normal, everyday process in a healthy body? (Rather than a description of some disease, fever, medical treatment, etc.)
Is this part of the endocrine system? (It has something to do with it, yes.)
Is the adrenal gland involved?
Is the cardiovascular system involved? (In a way, yes.)
Is the heart involved? (Only in that it's a part of the cardiovascular system though.)

No
Does this army consist of humans?
Is this army a marabunta?
Is the army of living beings?
Is the case fictional and just possible to happen in mind, a book or movie and such?
Is the army an element such as water (e.g., flood), or fire (e.g., forest fires)?
Does the army consist of machines (like a mowing machine)?
Does the army consist of parts of machines (like the knifes of a mowing machine)?
Does the army consist of tools (like scissors)?
Does the army consist of rockets?
Does the army consist of bombs?
Does the army consist of dynamite?
Is this army in the computer?
Maybe a Fire?
Are any of the things killed by the army human beings?
Is the army actually marching? (i.e. it's not just a figure of speech.)
Is it about Leukocytes (White blood cells/Immune system) at work?
Are we talking about digestion?
How about pain that is getting killed?
Is the army an outside infection?
Is the guy eating?
Is this part of the nervous system?
Does the army consist of teeth?
Is the guy getting impaled to death from both ends?
Does it have anything to do with falling asleep?
Would the armies be your kidneys?
Is the thyroid gland involved? (Not as far as my research showed, but I could be wrong)
Is the parathyroid gland involved? (Not as far as my research showed, but I could be wrong)
Is this about sex? (Intercourse.)
Are the locations the army marches from organs of the body? (No, the front and rear mentioned in the riddle are not the locations of organs)
Is the neurological system involved?
Is the respiratory system involved?
Are the things being killed by the army actually (rather than metaphorically) killed? (If you mean "Are lives lost" then no.)
Did the army originate outside of the body?
Is fear the thing that is killed?
Is the guy exercising?

Snarky

Is more than one person involved?
Is the sex of the person(s) relevant?
Is the process caused by or a response to some external stimulus?

Is it a case of hair loss?

WE HAVE OUR WINNER!!!

Solution
The "army" in question was Male Pattern Hair Loss, caused by male hormones and enzymes, and carried to the hair follicles through the bloodstream, where they "attack" and "kill" hair on the person's head, advancing back from the forehead and forward from the crown of the head, until eventually all the hair in between is "killed".

Well done, Kumpel!
Over to you if you want the next round!

(Phew... Now I can stop studying about MPHL and just get back to experiencing it)

Oh boy! What a nice simile for such a not so nice phenomenon!

I am out of cases and time atm. Whoever wants to jump in, do not hesitate to do so! (nod)

I'm curious what others who participated thought of the case... I was trying for something very different and what I thought might be challenging and also fun...

It did turn into an episode of Dr. House, but I can't control the way the questioning leads...

Did anyone have fun? Does anyone have a new case?
