I don't know if anyone will remember the Atari ST game Daleks (pretty sure it was out on other systems as well), but if you do, then this is more or less a remake of that game.  For those of you that don't remember it, this game is more or less a remake of that game.

Basically, it's a very simple turn-based game where you have to get the daleks / robots or whatever you want to call them to crash into each other rather than crash into you.  There are 5 levels but this is designed to be a coffee break game, unless you deliberately ponder each move for an age, no single game is ever going to take you long.  Starting points for you and the robots are completely randomised, and so is the location you transport to if you use the transporter, so there will be very occasional times when losing is inescapable - however these instances are extremely low probability.

I'll put up something non-GameJolt later, I'm in a bit of a rush now.  Enjoy!  (For extra fun see if you can identify the famous sci-fi robots I've tried to recreate as an 8x8 pixel sprite.)

Tks :)

Gave it a try, it's harder than it looks!
Any change to add the cursor keys as control keys? My left hand is non-cooperating.  ;)

Nice, I see an artist and voice actor in the makings!  (laugh)

Initially I wanted to use the number pad, but the way AGS handles key presses on it didn't seem very helpful.  I tried using the cursors but for a turn-based game it didn't detect diagonals too well (would have been fine if it was real-time).  So I had to put together a rather clunky method which I've now used so much I'm perfectly used to it and at ease with!  (nb - don't forget you can press T to teleport if you're out of space otherwise.)

Okay, then maybe add alternative keys... like the ones on the right side of the keyboard... iop? And maybe space to teleport?  ;)

Yes, after multiple deaths, I figured what the t was for... but seems to be random, since it actually teleported me into a robot (or right next to it) one of the times.

And yes, I've managed to win last time :D

PS - It would be nice if the game continued to the next level (or add a try again? GUI ... yes, next level and no), instead of back to the menu. I'm assuming 1-5 is level of difficulty?
