Isn't that David Bowie?
I have no idea about the show's name, though.

Yup. Basically every famous British musician of the 70s and early 80s performed on this show.

I did some detective work to find a show where David Bowie performed in the '70s and I maybe I've found it. Is it The Kenny Everett Video Show?

I've never heard of it before, but it's the right decade (1978) and has plenty of British bands playing in it.

Community?
After a brief glance yesterday I was going to guess it. But the way the faces looked made me not sure. The blanket curtain and NBC logo make it more likely, though.

That was actually my initial guess but I changed it for some reason.

Yes, VWgets it.  (nod)
I have it here, but haven't actually watched any episodes yet. Is it worth while?

@Mandle, you should have gone with your gut!  (laugh) Trust the gut!! Use the gut, Mandle!

It's hard to say if it's worthwhile or not. The first I saw of it was a zombie episode. If not for seeing that first, I might not have gotten into it.

Here's something that has been guessed several times, but wasn't right any of the guesses I saw...

Is that Better Call Saul? I think I recognise the actor but not the setting.
