So I've been drawing and writing a lot lately, but I'm starting to feel the strain on my right hand and wrist, so I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to alleviate it?

Apart from the Captain Obvious advice of just resting my hand.

Some sort of wrist brace or wrap should help with the pain at least. The right brace would also reduce the strain.

Wrist rests, regular wrist exercises. Cold compress for pain already present. Try and keep wrists straight and move your forearm instead of bending your wrist if possible.

^ There are some wrist exercises, ignore the 'pro gaming' nonsense there as an attempt to get kids to do them.

Thanks to everyone posting your tips, I'll totally try them out!

Changing your posture (maybe use a cushion) and re-postioning keyboard (L,R,U,D) helps... As someone with arthritis I often need to do this to ease the discomfort.

It's not good to resume the same old position day in and day out..

I found using my left hand for all regular computer tasks really alleviated pressure on my right wrist, which I would use exclusively for precision stuff (like drawing).
