I'm stuck at

the museum. I need to get the Draconium. I have already photographed the alarm code, but I don't know what to do next.
I think I need to lure the mouse to distract the guard, but I don't know how. I tried using the cheese with the mouse hole, but the protagonist says he doesn't want to get too close to it.

If you already have photographed the alarm code what you will have to do is right click on the camera into the inventory to get the code and then you should disable the alarm by the panel which is near the guard. But this is not done yet you will have to do something else!

To deactivate the alarm you should wait the guard to turn his head to the right side, in that moment you should be able to disable the alarm box, but that's not over.

Do you actually know how to take a screenshot in your computer? Just push the button "Stamp Rsist" then open an image editor like paint and paste it over there. Save the image and go to imgur.com then upload the image into the website and it will generate a link.

Hi! So the trick here is that you can create words by combining buttons together. So if you look at "create" here, it looks like two buttons pressed in order. First, press the Middle/Rightmost button (this symbol looks like the start of "Create" right?), then, press the button next to it, to the left (this symbol looks like the second part of "create", right?). Does that make sense? Now you can do the same for "cattle"

Take your time with it! It all makes sense if you break it down piece by piece. My best advice would be:

Look at the keypad. Look at every button on the keypad. Some of the buttons look similar to others. So when you are looking at the document, you might be clicking a set of buttons that LOOK like they are the best fit, but in reality there is ANOTHER combination that matches the keycode better.

If it is, then:
On the bottom right, you have the script that tells you which buttons to click (like the ruins puzzle). The first two significant words in that are "Demon" and "Dwell". If you look on the left, you'll see that "demon" is a pretty long symbol. On the top right (dark green), you'll see that my mouse cursor is hanging over a button that looks like the first part of the word "demon". So, what you would do, is click this button, then click it again (because in Demon it is symbolized twice), then immediately down 1 row and to the right you see the next symbol, this one that looks like the next part of "demon". Click that. Then, you will see immediately under THAT button and to the right, is what looks like the symbol that finishes the "demon" word on the left script. Sorry if that's confusing, let me know if it makes sense!

As for your map, I'm not really sure how to read that. I see Goblet 2x up top left... but you don't have to do any mapping out like that, since you will have 1. the parchment 2. the poem, 3. the buttons, all in front of you on the page

My best advice would be to double check all of your symbols, you are most likely clicking some that you think are the best fit, when really there is another symbol that matches much better. I have the items found in the hut but cannot see anything in the cellar. It looks like I need to make a candle, but how do I soften/melt the wax? I don't see anything hot in the game that I could use - there was a radiator in the the reception, but that location is no longer accessible. The game won't let me use the obvious solution of the stove in the kitchen, and Judy and Patricia are no help either.

You can make fire in two ways. First of all you should take the wooden and the stick which are located to the shelf at the hut.

1) Combine wooden with the stick while you are inside the hut to make fire

2) First use the wooden at the basket which is located just above the trap door and then use the wooden stick on it to make fire

I just played Metaphobia (Steam) and  loved it, but i have trouble figuring out how to unlock one of the achievements.
The achievement is "Have you seen this man..."  Is that David Lynch? There is a post in steam forums that talks about it.
Im curious if is something related to him or his work or is just a wrong assumption. Anyone have any ideas on how to  get it?

I'm glad to hear that you have recognize him. Let's say that the achievement is related to something he said on a video that can be found on the internet and the way how the achievement get unlocked has nothing to do with him. At the moment we can't really tell how to get it, this achievement was intended to be an hidden Easter egg but due to some settings on Steam it was more public than we intended it to be.

Wow, after having completed all the questionnaire to register with the aim of only leaving a message to the dev team about their great game Metaphobia, I'm unsure if I should post here at all since this is a Hint/seeking for help section and I don't need any, and had a Warning message in red informing me this thread has been inactive for at least 120 days, asking me to consider whether I should post here or start a new topic. I did a search with Metaphobia keyword for all the board and this was the only topic it found, and having read some of the comments posted that were allowed and well-received, I decided I should give it a go anyway.

That being said, my comment is: great game! I particularly liked the fact it ended in a bad, unexpected way. I was expecting like everyone else, the typical find his daughter/Judy maybe set free Winkelstein as a bonus happy ending, and the game would end on a typical love-scene relation between him and his daughter, or him and Judy or his wife, where relations are solved in a positive way. Instead it abruptly ended with Elmstat being trapped and transformed into one of them, taking over supposedly the city his father was trying to save from corruption. Maybe because it was a budget, free game and this was an easy way to end it ?

I also enjoyed a lot the story. It touches on many sensitive topics such as mind-control and aliens, even DUMBs, and general spying through the use of computers, all of which are actually true. I see this game as a sort of a soft-disclosure to the alien reality.

We don't get to see many unhappy endings in adventure games. A bit linear gameplay and easy to find solutions, but the dialogues and voices make it up for it! Overall, a good, sound point-and-click adventure free game! Thanks for making it.

We are glad that you liked the ending as it was truly unorthodox and not everyone liked it. Some people say that it was an easy way to end the game, but we just planned to be this way since the very beginning, but again everyone has different opinion and different taste.
