"Tree of life" drawing (with video of the process)

Hello, how are you doing?
I'm currently working on a series of sprites about "Adam and Eve myth" concept.
This time I find myself looking for a humanized tree of the forbidden fruit.
I was hoping you could give me some advice about using dithering and getting some more volume on my figures.

Sorry, I don't really have much to add as criticism might go, sorry. I rarely do pixel art my self.
If anything, I would ask what kind of fruit that is? Cause it looks more like a strawberry shape, than an apple. Maybe maybe the bottom of it a less pointy and more flat.

Well, I'm glad you liked watching the video. It's true what you say about the fruit, maybe I could try to make it more red and flat.

I think the colour is fine, it's just the shape.

I think the design its very good, i only want to say that, if i not remember bad, theologist agree about the fact that the fruit Adan and Eve eat was more like a grape cluster but grow on a tree. (Sorry if this comment have typos, my native language it's Spanish)
