Why the hell did you guys drink Fosters?!

Almost every country's most famous beer is the worst on offer!

Fosters is horrible!

Jame's Squire's 150 Lashes!!! Now, there's a decent beer!

You would have a Mittens in Australia with CJ attending and not drink Fosters?

We very deliberately bought it.

There is a very deliberate reason the only Australian in the group photo has a glass and a bottle of red wine and not Fosters. Lashes is ok for a faux craft beer. Prefer stone and wood, Black Hops or Balter for a more locally owned and brewed beer.

I'm still traveling Australia, seeing a bit more of Queensland. Just watched the sunset and full moon rise over Airlie Beach after an excellent dinner, and then wallabies feeding right outside my porch at dusk. Life could be worse.

So, the day after this I took a sailing tour out to Whitsunday Island. And I think I may have gone snorkeling in the precise spot where two tourists were mauled by a shark today. Yikes. (It was very nice there, with beautiful coral and lots of fishes.)
