Looks good. May I recommend making a few alterations to the GUI though. Having only four inventory items shown at once, gets very annoying very fast.
There's plenty of space above, below, and on both sides. You could easily double it up to have eight, or just put two more on the side to make six. Either option will do for me. Just please, make it display more than four items.

Already finished? I thought - especially with the scope of this game - that your progress wouldn't be so far yet. I will check it out soon.

You should make a post in the completed games forum and/or change the title of this thread, because otherwise many people may not notice that the game is finished.

In winsetup.exe you can change the settings.
